I got this chair for my teen son's room. He is liking it. It comes vacuumed packed and starts to fill up once opened. It is very wide and low. It is pretty comfortable, but still pretty firm after sitting out for a week or more. I've done a lot of squishing and scrunching to try and get the foam to expand a bit more, with little success. I got this bean bag chair, and it’s amazing! It’s really soft and comfy because the fabric feels nice and smooth. The foam inside is super squishy, so it’s perfect for relaxing after a long day. There’s also a handle on top, so I can move it around the house easily. The chair is really big and comfy, so I can stretch out when I’m playing games or watching TV. We got this chair for our son in his room and is working out very nicely. It expanded quickly and is firm enough for an adult to sit on but still comfortable. Even our large dog likes it and have had to fight her off a few times to sit on. Holy comfort!!! I LOVE THIS NOT BEAN BAG BEAN BAG CHAIR. It's not filled with the tiny popcorn beans like in the "old days". Nope, this chair is filled with high quality foam making it sooooo comfy, you'll never want to get out of it. Which for me is good because at this time, my age, and sporting a heavy orthopedic boot due to a recent Jones Fracture, it's not that easy to get up and out. But that's where my sweet 11 year old daughter comes in. She has to pull my old dierierre out of it. But, I'm not complaining. It's a bean bag chair. It's SUPPOSED to be low on the floor. This thing is HEAVY TOO. Since I broke my foot a few weeks ago, I've had to enlist the help of my daughter for certain things around the house and when I got notice that it was delivered and sitting in my carport I asked her to bring it in for me. She slid it all the way down the hall to my bedroom, and then, while huffing and puffing for breath, she said, "Mom, this is heavy. What is it"? If course I didn't know , because I'm receiving Amazon packages almost daily, and rarely can I remember what I've ordered. So when I finally opened it (that was a chore in itself, very well disguised in two boxes and double vacuum sealed) I was surprised to see it was my bean bag chair. Very impressive how they got this BIG CHAIR so compact . If you've ever followed any of my reviews, you know how very picky I am and I do not give 5 star reviews UNLESS I truly believe the product deserves it. Well this chair deserves 5* and above. Oh my goodness how comfy this thing is. I had a choice between light grey or dark grey, and I chose the dark grey but honestly, this looks more Navy in color to me. Which is absolutely fine by me. I'm just going to have to fight my daughter and my big ole Sheprador for it because both of them want to sit it in all the time (or as seen in one of my included photos, sleep upside down in it) Here are some perks with this chair that you would never find in your typical 1980's bean bag chair: 1. Handle. There is a handle, made of same color and material, on the top of the back of the chair. You'll need that handle because this heavy Cloud like chair is, well, heavy. 2. It's firm. It's not stingyily stuffed with tiny white popcorn beans. It's filled with a foam that won't shift around much on you so you don't have that lopsided appearance others do, and you have 360° comfort. Ok, maybe that's not the best description, but you get the idea. It's firm, but plush. Firm but comfortable. You can sit in this chair like you would normally sit in any chair, but you can also sleep in this chair, lay sideways in this chair, lay upside down if that's your thing, you can even live in this chair. Ok, maybe that's a bit extreme, but if you position it in your favorite room, in front of your big screen TV, stuff your phone, or snacks, or reading material in the very HANDY side storage pocket, you could at least make a day out of it. I'm tickled over this chair. I was not expecting it to be so comfortable. Wow wow wow wow!!! I'm shocking myself because I don't get easily impressed and this chair has me impressed. So the soft exterior cover can come off. There is a zipper on the bottom of the chair, so the cover can be removed and washed AND, unlike those "other" chairs, nothing is going to come falling out, no chasing beans all over your house. It's a firm foam filling. Just keep your furry friends away from it when you've got the cover off to wash , because you know how cats love to "sharpen" their claws on things. Shew shew shew kitty. Not this chair you don't. And as far as aesthetics go, this chair will look nice in any room, it's not cheap or tacky looking. And if you're one of those OCD moms like me that likes everything to match, or at least the decorum to look good enough for Architectural Digest cover, then throw your favorite colored comfy "throw" over the chair, and wala. For now, my daughters using it in her room. Little does she know that Moms going to be stealing it during the day while she's at school, throwing my gorgeous chocolate brown faux Rabbit fur "Throw" over it,(also another great Amazon find), and pop a squat while watching my true crime shows. By the time she gets off the bus, I'll have it back in her room and she would never have known. Good thing I've got the bus tracking app. Lol. I'm fortunate to be in this program because the pricetag on this is a bit hefty for my pockets, but boy is it worth it. If you can shell out the Benjamins, then I'd definitely recommend it. And if you have the room and "roommates", ie., kids (no husbands, they don't deserve this kind of comfort, unless of course you've got one of those rare ones that actually helps out around the house) then grab a couple of these. I'm not kidding. You will fall asleep in this chair, it's that comfortable. Enjoy!!! ... show more

So the back flops forward even though I have readjusted it and tried moving the stuffing. Luckily it’s for the 7 yr old! It’s heavy and huge. Make sure that you pick the room that you want to put it in and then put it in there then open it up because we couldn’t get it out of the seven-year-olds bedroom To show his therapist lol ... show more
