I purchased this in anticipation of need post rotator cuff surgery. Genius invention. Makes wiping possible with one hand and it is easy to get paper or wipes on. Only drawback is that occasionally the paper doesnt come off easily.

I bought this product to assist with wiping after lumbar puncture and blood patch. I can’t bend or twist my back at all. However, it was extremely difficult to use in that the toilet paper would hang up on it and would have to be manually taken off not making it the cleanest. Also, being a female, the size was too big to use back to front and too small to use front to back. It is good plastic but the button is completely useless. Basically this is like a long ruler. The button to tighten and release the toilet tissue broke somehow. It just stopped tightening or loosening when pushed. It was like it froze up on the inside. There is no way to take apart to fix it. Other then that it is a good product because it narrows out to get in between cheeks easily. What a shame. ... show more

As someone who has become disabled and has a difficulty reaching, I needed something that could help. I felt I should leave a review as this item is not a fun one to shop for, and even being in a position of needing one can feel a bit overwhelming. I have mastered how to use this one. I will say it took some practice on learning how much toilet paper squares works best. I use 6 squares. Putting the tissue on the device can also take a little getting used. But I take the six squares and fold them in half. Then fold that about three fourths in half. Then I press the 2 layers side in the back and carefully wrap the rest of the tissue around and then press the remaining 4 layers into the back with the 2 other layers. The 6 layers of tissue create enough tension to hold the tissue in place. You will likely get only one wipe. It is not designed to rub back and forth. Tissue will fall off with that action. But once you master it, it works great. I’m happy to be able to get myself clean. And that means a lot to me and my self respect. ... show more

Love that I can adequately reach where I need to when my back doesn't want to cooperate. Easy to use and does a good job. Be aware that you will need a lot more time to toilet when using this product. The spring loaded release on mine got hung up and was unusable for a few days, but I was able to still load and use it. Manual release is a little messy at times but a good handwashing afterwards takes care of any mess, and we all wash our hands afterwards anyhow, right?     • Paper does not dislodge from the tool as expected.

The button at the end of the tool, when pressed, is suppose to dislodge the paper. I tested it "dry" (not actually used it on myself) numerous times and each time that I pressed the button to release the paper, the button either did nor function properly, or when it did function properly, the papery did not fall of the tool. This is the second one I've owned of this. From this company. The first one, the button broke with first use and the spring ripped the rubber and cut my hand. They didn't replace it, I bought a second one because I thought I had been too rough. The photos are the second one, which I purchased November 22nd of 2021 - I've never been able to use the button as it broke right out of the box (the spring separated and ripped the rubber) the company was no help and instead tried to sell a third one. As of now I have to buy a new one, because the spring is broken, the entire shaft is being held together by hopes and dreams. And despite not being aggressive or careless with this product, the rubber handle is basically disintegrating. Save your money, find a better quality product with a better company. Don't make the same mistake I did. ... show more
