These serving dishes mesh with our decor wonderfully. They arrive well-packed, nested in high-quality foam. As others have noted they can have minor imperfections in the glaze and may not lay perfectly flat, but these are insignificant from my perspective. A tablecloth of any thickness or trivet addresses any wobble and dots in the glaze will be hidden under food. I can't speak to the other colors but the blue is a keeper. Easy recommend. ... show more

We got these platters for serving dishes at parties, large family meals, and other get-togethers. After ordering, I got an email from the seller ahead of shipping letting me know there would be some issues with the color. However, these plates look amazing in person and the slight imperfections just add to the feeling of small batch, artisan made vs. mass-produced ceramics. The speckled pattern matches well with the uneven surface of the platter, and the light blue color complements the gold edging very well. The set comes with three different-sized platters with the middle one being slightly wider and longer than three standard napkins laid side-to-side. The height of each platter also steadily increases from .75, 1, to 1.25 inches. The platters can nest, and when stacked are just about 2 inches tall, making them very easy to store. The largest platter in our set had a few imperfections which I think was caused by glaze bubbles, but as mentioned - that just adds to the impression of a somewhat unique set. We washed these in the dishwasher and they came out perfect (picture is after running them through the dishwasher). I think these are a great set of serving dishes and should hold up well.
