I have been comparing vanities with a glass topper, and electric plugs with a "fairly easy" assembly for a few months now, and finally settled on this particular vanity. I am extremely satisfied with the purchase including the aesthetic, sturdiness, quality of material, and assembly. Some things to note: The right-hand standing shelf is a little smaller than it appears on the website (review dimensions before purchase), but holds a fair amount of items and is sufficient. The mirror is quite large and the lights surrounding the mirror are pretty lengthy. To ensure evenness, I wrapped the cording around each bulb to get the dimension and length around the mirror, as desired. This was a very easy self-adjustment. Also, the mirror has a magnifying effect in the center. At first I thought it was a defect (because it feels slightly out of focus at first glance) but when you move closer to the mirror, it's obvious that it is simply a magnifer. This is a pro and a con depending on your needs, for the mirror. I am enjoying it! Lastly, I would give the assembly a five star writing for (a) ease and clarity in instructions, (b) simplicity of install, and (c) arrangement of materials in the packaging - especially given the volume of items required for install. It did take a few hours to put together, but this is to be expected because of the dimensions of the vanity. The only reason for the 4 star rating is because when I attempted to screw in some of nails with a handscrew, the wood would crack and splinter immediately - even with a gentle touch. I switched to a power drill on low speed and had a much easier time avoiding the wood splints, and the installation overall went WAY faster. All in all, this vanity is absolutely worth the buy, however, make sure you allot an appropriate amount of time to fully complete the install. ... show more

I love the quality of the materials to build this Vanity. It has a peal sparkle to it. Didn't have to use electric tools but did use two different screwdrivers, a hammer and plyers. ALL of the pieces were there and clearly labeled. It was LABOR INTENSIVE for my husband!!! It took us 4 HOURS not including the decorative lights on the mirror and the little bench and the cleanup. It took 5 trash bags to get the box and packing material broken down and into the trash. It is a little bit fragile in that you don't want to move locations for it a lot. Don't put heavy stuff on the part that holds items. A flower up there maybe but nothing with substantial weight. I LOVE IT! I WOULD BUY ANOTHER ONE! IT IS TIME CONSUMING AND MESSY WE DID IT ON A DAY OFF. ... show more

After searching and searching for a vanity that would hold all my crap…this one takes the cake. There is a large drawer in the front with dividers.. even with the divider you still have lots of room. For reference: I have The Knot Dr blow drying brush (similar to Revlon), and The Beachwaver. Both really long hair tools. I didn’t like the way the blow drying brush fit in the drawer so it’s currently hanging in the blow dryer rack on the side. But all the hair tools including my beach waver fit easily in the drawer (diagonally). The second half of the large drawer I have hair spray, dry shampoo ect. Also very large cans, they fit comfortably with extra room for anything else, The shelves on the top right come in handy for those extra aesthetic decorations you may have or in my case perfume, makeup remover ect. The smaller drawers are spacious. Again, for reference: my James Charles makeup pallet fits perfectly in the smaller drawers along with any other compacts I own. The cabinet doesn’t have a shelf, which im perfectly fine with but once again you have so much space. Now let’s talk assembly. Myself and my s/o built this in roughly 5 1/2 hours. The hardest part I would say is the tracks for the drawers. They are confusing and the directions themself are just pictures. We also had an electric screw driver which definitely made a difference. The mirror is gorgeous. It’s humongous and heavy. Mine came with a protective cover to prevent scratches during shipping. The “workspace area” has glass on top so You can see into the big drawer and first small one. Once again no scratches when it was delivered but it did not come with a covering. Let’s talk lights; these string lights are difficult to manage but once I explain it’s not that bad. I recommend putting the first light that is connected to the power adapter on the far left side and then plugging it into the vanity itself or the wall to keep a clean look of minimal cords. Second thing: WRAP THE CORD BETWEEN EACH LIGHT!!! It makes it look so much better. If you wrap the cord around the light as you hang them there is no slack between the lights. Overall this was only difficult to assemble at times. The directions are only pictures so an extra set of eyes during the building process is a smart idea. It’s adult size, absolutely gorgeous. And most importantly ITS STURDY. The wood is plywood and can definitely hold its own. ... show more

Bought for a teen who dances on stage and does TicToc videos. Assembled by her mother and grandmother. Product - The stool is a bit cheesy but workable. Foam seat is vinyl that can easily be recovered. The lights are stick-on and plug in, but very cute. The vanity itself is very well constructed. Great storage. Arrival - Requires two mothers and a hand truck to move. Heavy! Or remove the pieces individually. Assembly - Took us about four hours with two people. Instructions were, for the most part, easy to understand. Discovered "boards" were labeled on the edge. Packaged parts are well labeled and identified in the instructions. Preferred screwdriver to drill. Adjusting door was tricky, but standard for adjustable hinges. Definitely a two person job because some pieces need to be held while adjoining pieces are connected. Quality - very, very good! Pieces fit tight. Sturdy. Drawers glide nicely. Storage is excellent. Lights looked like they might we cheap looking, but actually work nicely. Love the cubbies next to the mirror as well as the large storage at the bottom. Teen loves that she can see her products under the glass top. Glass top is an excellent idea for avoiding stains from products. Conclusion - happiness from one teen! Also pride from Mom and G-ma for assembling and giving the teen something she wants, needs, and loves. ... show more
