I’ve been working on packing lighter when I go places only taking on a carry-on just to make travel quicker. I bought this little travel backpack on a whim and I give it absolutely five stars. It’s got extra containers so that you can put your toiletries in it has a pretty big compartment that had enough for three days worth where Underwear, socks, a curling iron and toiletries. You can even compress the sides down so that it’ll fit under your seat or in the overhead compartment. The only thing that I would improve on this is if it had a hip belt on it just to take some of the weight off of your shoulders. Even if you’re considering purchasing this. Just to take with you on the airplane. It’s an absolute Win! It fit perfectly under the airplane seat. It was very durable very functional. I purchased several small carry-on bags to compare. This one was the least expensive but by far the best quality and design. It had ample pockets and easily held enough clothes (and a small purse) for a long weekend. I had been told Frontier Airlines was very strict with its carry-on rules but this bag sailed through with no problems. The back pack straps are comfortable and make for easy carrying between gates and on the plane. I also like the fact they can be tucked away when not in use. I lost this soon after I bought it. I probably should clarify that. My teenage son ˋborrowed' it for an international trip and I don’t think I’m getting it back. He loves it as much as my husband and I did, so we‘ll just give it to him and happily buy another. It looks like a backpack, fits well under the airplane seat as a personal item, but packs as much as a small carryon. Since it’s the size of a personal item the airlines let you have a carryon in addition to this. So much space.. My son got 7 days of clothes plus electronics and toiletries into this and he’s 6 foot tall. My son liked that it wasn’t a granny suitcase and looks young and hip. My husband liked that it was stylish and didn’t look like a teenagers backpack. How those both could be true at the same time is beyond me. The only thing I would change is if the zipper would open and fold open to the side like a suitcase (yet zip open a little to the side from the top) rather than opening the long way (flap at the bottom). I have another one that does this and it’s easier to only unbuckle 2 buckles rather than all 4. I still rate this 5 stars for the quality, sturdy and comfortable straps, water resistance, etc. Everything seems durable. The zipper is heavy duty . I’ll be buying another. ... show more

I managed to put my iPad, a set of clothes for 4 days, a 9-inch loaf of bread (yes, i know) and miscellaneous items with room to spare! It's good for the price and perfect for short trips if you want to carry a lot of stuff but don't have/want a suitcase. I wouldn't recommend it for school or something you carry everyday. It's not very comfortable on the shoulders to carry for long, especially if it's heavy. It's fine to go through the airport but I wouldn't suggest carrying it through the day. I've only used it on two trips so far but the handles worry me a bit. I can tell that there's a good chance it won't last constant use. Photos show a 80% full bag under an airplane seat. I like the waterproof pockets in the back where it is possible to get wet the most while walking in the rain. It looks large, but I found it the right size on my back when I carried it filled with some clothes. In large compartments everything can be packed I might need for a night or two in case that my luggage is lost during the trip. Zippers smooth, seams held up, color as pictured. Carried small laptop, tablet and everything else I could stuff in it for 5-hour flight. Especially liked the simple rubbery port built-in to feed your own USB cable to your own battery charger stowed on the inside. Others that have a built-in USB "jack" seemed unlikely to support fast charging, and more susceptible to damage. Was able to use the straps and buckles to cinch small enough to fit under airline seat.
