It doesn’t say you’re supposed to add water to the basket, but I saw a similar steamer where reviewers were saying they didn’t smell anything and were being told to add water). Easy fill. I purchased a facial steamer YEARS ago and discovered that it worked fine when placing your face right up in front of it but not so practical for steaming another person’s face for example while doing a professional facial service. I loved the portability of the original steamer unit but needed an extender arm to use it for doing traveling facials. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to attach and how effective it is for facials. The flow of steam is good and it is the right length to use on a side table or cart while performing a professional facial. Highly recommend if you already have the little steamer unit with the small spout on the top. Just pop the spout off (which you can replace later so hang onto it) and pop the extender arm in. Happy with purchase. Love that its a 3 in1 device but my only complaint is that I wish the steam lasted longer. It gives you about 10-15 mins of steam before you have to add more water which is fine for a facial. For air purification and aromatherapy I want it to run longer.

I had this product less than an year and it just stopped working. So bumped and disappointed. I can’t even return it because the window is closed. Avoid it spending your money on this one!!!! Update: After they saw my review they contacted me right away. They sent me a new one because there was a one year warranty which I didn’t know about loll. The new one came really quick. And their costumer service is amazing. So if you are planning to get this one , i definitely recommend. They have a 1 year warranty and amazing and quick costumer service. The product itself is amazing too. I really like that it has a separate chamber for essential oils (main reason I bought) and it has options for both hot and cold. I purchased for facials on clients and people rave about the steam. With the hot and cold setting I can do regular and sensitive facials . I use the extraction tools every facial and they work well, versatile, good quality. You will need to fill the reservoir after every use and make sure you have a cart or table to set it on while in use. I also suggest buying the extension with it. ... show more

This steamer is nice. I like the color and the sleekness of it. I only gave it a three star rating because the cool mist does not flow out as much as the the hot steam. Initially it did but that feature stopped working after about three days so now I can only set it to hot steam. Not worth the hassle of returning… It works great in my shampoo room while my clients are getting their hair shampooed and treated. **I’m updating my review 10/12/23** The top of the dispenser for the essential oil broke and now the extended diffuser broke. This item was delivered on August the 6 and it just broke September 18. Didn’t use it regular but when I did it was great, allot of nice steam came out, I also purchased the wand attachment so I could lay down and steam. Definitely was a nice steam experience with dry herb blends and essential oil so imagine just how sad I was when it just stopped working on the 18th September. During a regular steam it seems the motor over heated, I can here it’s on but now steam won’t come out even though it’s filled with fresh water. Sad day indeed, especially since it’s literally right after the return window is closed 😭 ... show more
