This also does a much better job of blocking light coming in around your nose than the one that comes standard on the Quest 3. It blocks just about all the light when worn correctly. I have this paired with Bobo S3 Pro and it fits great. It’s not overwhelming more comfortable than the original but is noticeable more comfortable if that makes sense. I think I now have the perfect setup. I could’ve gone with AMR version but read it’s too big for BoBo headsets. I’m happy with my purchase. I think the thicker one add too much pressure. Maybe some adjustments can be made. I checked out a few different brands of facial interfaces and ended up going with Apexinno because their video really grabbed my attention. Got the product the next day and wasted no time slapping it onto my Quest 3. It didn't disappoint! Just like they showed in the video, adjusting the length is a breeze with that button, and my face feels so comfy against the leather. Showed it to my cousin (he's got a Quest 3 too) and he's already planning to snag one himself.lol. Oh, and I saw this comment saying the product doesn't fit another third-party brand's accessory. Like, duh! It's made for your Quest 3, not some other brand's accessory. You gotta know that before you buy it, don't go trying to be clever and end up making a mess of things! ... show more

Bought this for me and a buddy as we use our headsets to get into VR, the pleather instantly started to make both of us sweaty, lenses fogged until I extended the mask distance, still fogs though with vents. Would probably not buy again if I had tested first.

The face cover works great for blocking the light very comfy and I was able to wear it for long periods without discomfort it does tend to get sweaty when you do workouts my best solution is to be in a AC room which works fine for me will recommend this product to others.

So overall I can't really say if I feel this is an upgrade over the original face pad. Yes it does a better job at keeping light out especially around the nose and it does have the depth adjustments on the outside making it easier to adjust. But honestly unless you are sharing your headset and have to adjust this frequently this really is not as big of a feature as it might seem since I set it and never change it. As for comfort this is on par with the original maybe even a little less comfortable which is why I really can't say this is an upgrade. If you are trying to find a higher level of comfort this might not be the best choice. If you are needing to replace a broken interface then this may be a great option to consider.
