Just got the lamp yesterday. Works pretty well so far but the motion sensor does not turn on at all. It's a cool lamp and all but maybe not worth the money when its omitting a promised feature

I was so disappointed in this lamp. The instructions for being able to connect it to the internet or my home network were non-existent. The reason to buy a smart lamp was so that I could use it with Alexa and voice commands. The small amount of instructions provided with the lamp or totally insufficient to be able to connect to the internet. Surprisingly, even when I searched online, I could find information about the lamp and how to change color intensity and other things that I'm not interested in, but nobody mentioned getting it to connect to my home network. I am returning it. Unlike most other products I buy, there was no link on how to return it on Amazon's website. I had to call customer service with Amazon (not difficult to make the connection to them) and the customer service rep I spoke to said she would send me a link to request to return and receive a refund. I promptly received that. I do appreciate the interactions I've had with Amazon's customer service reps. So I returned it... I did not even attempt to turn it on or use the lamp because it was the smart connection ability that I am interested in. I was not able to use that so I did not complete questions on brightness, etc, and finishing this review. It was so surprising to me that nowhere could I find adequate instructions on how to connect this lamp to my home network, which is why one buys a "smart" lamp! ... show more

The design is sleek and the touch functionality is great. The light gets bright enough and the range of motion is just fine. The clock is awful, it only does military time and goes wildly out of sync within a week. In about a year, it has shifted an entire two hours forward in time and the easiest way to sync the time is by downloading a shady Chinese app that you probably don't want on your phone. The barrel plug is awful and for the price they should've opted for a USBC cable. Since the cord is so unsightly, I can't freely move the lamp closer to my workspace and then move it back when I don't need it without unwinding the cord. ... show more

Well packaged, excellent illumination options, solid design and construction. The only negative is the written instructions. Small printing, difficult to read, inadequate. You have to go online to get adequate assembly and illumination guidance.
