I ordered this charger when I got my new iPhone, thinking it would make a good bedside lamp too. Unfortunately it misses the mark for both. The lamp with 3 levels of light is not bright enough to see beyond a few inches. It also has a tendency to turn itself on. I have it just out of my reach - but it is often on in the middle of the night. Fortunately it isn't bright enough to wake us up. The charger chirps to let you know a connection has been made, but several times after leaving my phone on it overnight it hasn't completely charged. This charger has a clean, streamlined appearance and is very simple to set up and use, just plug into a port and you're ready to go. The lamp gives a warm glow, if that's all you want it's great. The charger chirps to let you know it has connected with your phone. My main problem is the hit and miss charge. Fortunately it usually charges.
