  • Bought a pair October of 2019, Just Received 2nd Pair and Couldn't be Happier!
Size: 10.5 Color: Camel-fur Lining
So my first pair were bought in late October of 2019, I was actually working at Amazon as a Manager and I wanted a comfortable pair of shoes to walk in and I still wanted to wear nice-ish clothing to work. I read a lot of reviews back then and most mentioned that they wouldn't last more than a couple months. For $30 I thought that was fine; as long as they lasted through the Chicago Winter I'd be a happy customer. Plus they were advertised as waterproof which was a factor in my purchase. (They are waterproof and they aren't, they protect your feet from slush and snow but if it's raining you may want to cover the fur.) So as of February 9th, 2021 I have continued to wear that same pair from Late Fall to Early Spring. I've put about 10-12 months of use into these shoes. At Amazon I'd wear a step counter and I was walking about 5 to 8 miles 4-5 days a week. I shovel my driveway with these shoes. I wear these shoes out on dates (and get complimented). These shoes look good, feel good, and WILL last you at least a year. I honestly believe I could get another year or two, but I'm just giving you my honest review based off of my own experience. So the shoes last a pretty long time in a city that definitely isn't new to getting heavy snowfall. But how do the new shoes compare to the old ones? I have only noticed 2 differences since putting them on this morning about 2 hours ago. 1.) The fur is much thicker and provides much better insulation. Which is due to how much I've worn my previous pair I assume. 2.) The soles do provide better grip on ice. Obviously wearing a shoe for over 6 months will wear out the rubber soles a bit. Long story short... Other than wear and tear, the shoes are exactly the same aside from their color. If you want a cheap pair of shoes that will last you for at minimum a year, there really isn't much other options. These shoes are wonderful, I have referred so many friends and co-workers to buy a pair. If these shoes ever are discontinued I know I will be purchasing all of their color options and enough to last me at least another 10-12 years. So probably 6 pairs or so. Aside from my Sperry's Striper II's which are also waterproof, these are my 2nd favorite pair of shoes. Notes: I worked as an Amazon Manager, however I am no longer employed with or affiliated with Amazon in any way. This review was NOT based on receiving the product for free. (Total cost for 2 pairs was around ~$70) I do not write reviews often, I will only write a review when I really really love a product or really really hate a product. The shoes fit exactly to size, based on 2 separate purchases. ... show more

  • Durable, comfortable, and stylish
Size: 11 Color: Camel
I've had these boots for about 8 months now and have been impressed with every step I take in them. They're lightweight, comfortable, and have held up extremely well in tough conditions. I wear them 8-12 hours a week doing yard work or hiking. They have kept my feet warm and dry in snow, rain, and flooded and muddy terrain. None of the stitching or glue on the soles has come undone, the waterproofing has held up with no issues, and the inner fabrics barely show any signs of wear. They're flexible and soft enough to be comfortable without jeopardizing structural support to protect my feet and ankles on rocky and steep terrains.I probably wouldn't wear them on any trek more than a few miles because they are a little more cushy than I like for long hikes. But I've worn them doing full days of forest clearing with no problems. Overall, excellent product and an even better price! I will definitely buy again whenever these wear down enough to warrant a new pair. Unfortunately for the manufacturers, that seems like a ways off! ... show more

  • Very Good for Price - Long Term Review
Size: 9 Color: Dark Gray
Overall, these are GOOD for the price, maybe even great. I don't think you're going to find a much better deal for the price. (These are commonly/usually $30-35). I have had 2 pairs of these, 1 fur lined and 1 regular. I bought my last pair about 1 year and 8 months ago. I wore them regularly for about a year, and semi regularly since. Build Quality - Decent. I find the seems start to show their age after probably 8+ months of regular wear. I find the laces to wear out fairly fast. "Waterproof" might be an exaggeration, but it's good enough for walking in the snow or shallow puddles. Venting - Unless you live a very cold climate, I would not recommend getting the fur lined. I do wear them in warmer weather some, and my feet get sweaty after an hour or so outside. Fit - Fine for me. I have flat-ish and wide-ish feet. Soles - You may want to put some better soles in these if you have issues with that. They stayed decently comfortable for me for about 6 months. I've even done some actual light-hiking with them, but I would recommend some better soles if you are gonna be on your feet for a long time. Look - I actually get quite a few compliments on these. They are sort in between a hiking and casual boot. I've been allowed to wear these in my couple of different office jobs (business casual in the south). ... show more

  • Great boot but...
Size: 13 Color: Dark Gray-fur Lining
I love these boots and have had them for two years. They are stylish and comfortable and I get a lot of compliments on them. But... The style that I purchased (Dark Gray-Fur Lining) were never what I would consider waterproof. And that's mostly ok, I don't ever wear these as hiking/hunting boots would require them to be waterproof. These are more - wine tasting in the fall - type of boots. The real issue is, after two years of seasonal use the rubber outsole has worn through on the tread lugs which reveal that the lugs are hollow inside. Now, the boots aren't just - Not waterproof, there are about 20 holes directly on the bottom of the shoe that soak up water like a sponge. This all being said, I still love the boots, I just have to be very careful to only wear them when the ground is 100% dry. ... show more

  • Excellent Boots!
I've had these boots for three years. They have proved themselves to be excellent. I have used them for yard work and construction in wet weather and dry. They really are waterproof as advertised. They require no break in as they are flexible and fairly easy to put on and take off. I am really happy with them especially that my feet are warm and dry while working outside in western North Carolina. Highly recommend them and think for their quality they are under priced. ... show more
