The boot is mat well and the maerial is good. The only reasone they are not perfect is that the instep in narrow. I can put them on and they are comfortable when on, but getting them on a a fight. Not bad enoug to return but if you have a high instep do not purchase this boot.

Boot is decent, but contrary to another review, the size appears to be spot on. I wear a 10.5 boot, ordered a 10 because another reviewer said these boots ran big - the pair I got was marked as a 10 and fit like a 10...a little snug for me...

I did order a size down (I'm a 10w or a 10.5, but a 10 was just about right, if not a little too big). They look good and are pretty comfortable. Nice set of 'winter' boots for the short winters we get here. I'm pleased and impressed for the dollar.

    • Fit was fine, soles need a lot of help
The fit was fine for me. I wear 10s, I ordered 10s, no problem. Even with a Dr Scholl's added. More on that in a second... I used these on a week long trip to New Mexico.. We hiked the desert floor, we hiked in the trees on the mountain, we hiked in the snow at the peak. They held up well, and shed what water/snow got on them fine.. I wouldn't submerse them.. I mean 'waterproof' is a strong word, but certainly for rain, snow, small puddles/streams you'd be ok. Now.. the soles.. First there is ZERO arch support. If I hiked in these the way they came my knees would have hated me. On top of that the soles are so soft or thin that you can feel every bump you are stepping on. They were actually *almost* painful to walk around my house and yard in. I got some Dr Scholl's tri-comfort insoles and they helped a lot. Those have a hard plastic insert through the center/arch area so it blocked a lot of the feeling from underneath while adding arch support. That all said.. they still weren't the most comfortable after spending the addl $14 on the insoles. ... show more
