I've been buying the same readers for a couple years, but for the last few months they haven't had them, and I finally broke my last backup pair. I bought a "cheap" pair at my local supermarket, twice the price of the per-pair price of these, and I get maybe a 45 degree field of view at best before things get blurry. I was so relieved when these arrived (a day early) and I tried them on to find none of those issues. My "regular" reading glasses were "XL Fit" and I loved them, so far these are just as comfortable, the spring temples seem to have just the right tension to stay in place but not cut into my "XL" head. They feel sturdy, time will tell. I'm pretty hard on my readers, even with spring temples I seem to snap the arms off within a month or two, if they aren't damaged some other way before then. I have a whole box of my old ones, I could probably rebuild half a dozen good ones if I had time LOL. ... show more

Pro - sunglasses I wanted to try frames with nose piece, so that maybe my glasses wouldn’t slide down my nose so much. Since these frames have adjustable nose pieces I wanted to give it a try.
