Okay so I don’t usually write long reviews however this was one of the hardest purchases I ever made and I’ll tell you why. I looked on Amazon for about 2 weeks straight! I mean I searched for hours and hours because I’m very particular about the design type and I pretty much couldn’t find one that would 1) fit the style of my suitcase and 2) provide a cool design but subtle enough not be an eye sore. Anyhow, I have all samsonite suitcases set and the recently I bought IT suitcase set and the top handle is right in front of the pull handle. It’s not the standard design of the old school suitcase. This cover is not the thickest because I found other thicker covers however it has great elasticity and the XL fits my blue samsonite 31” (diagonal) suitcase very snug. It’s not loose however it wasn’t overly stretched out. The small cover definitely fits the carry on size for the samsonite brand and the IT travel brand as well. However it’s not a tight fit. There is a bit of room however it looks snuck and not loose. I choose this design because it displays many different popular places in the world and the colors and patterns are not hard on the eyes. It’s not a childish design. It’s pretty cute. I am a plain Jane and prefer a solid cover however I want to be able to identify my suitcase all while protecting it from scratches & dirt. I have the hard shell case and it’s very Durable however I hate how dirty my suitcase looks. I mostly use clorox wipes to wipe it down but this is a better option. I love the big cut out at the top to provide the access to the pull handle instead of the other cover that provide two separate holes at the top. I see other reviews where it ripped after first use but these airline baggage handlers don’t handle bags with much care. The one downside is that the side handle on my suitcases are not centered and the invisible opening is at the center. Either way I’m ok with it because at least I can open it to access that particular handle. Everything can’t be perfect. I think it does the job. Get it! I have the hard-sided luggage. After one trip, the double zipper broke. The zipper still functions, but I feel like the zipper could separate if someone tossed another suitcase on top of it or whatever. Thus, I bought this little suitcase cover so I could be sure my clothes don't end up spread all over the airport. It was very simple to put on the suitcase. There's a zipper at the bottom to fasten it. There are also two invisible zippers on each side in case your suitcase has side handles. The colors and pattern are so attractive. It lasts a maximum of three uses, it does not withstand the mishandling of airports, but at least it does protect your suitcase from scratches by 85% as long as the fabric of the protector does not tear.

These are very resistant. The material is sturdy. They have survived 5 years of lots of travel handling on planes and cruises. The design is basic but they are great. We ordered different ones with other interesting features, but the fabric shows a lot of tear in only a couple of years. We will reorder this one soon. ... show more

The Suitcase Protector is stylish and practical. I’ve used it on several trips now, and it has done an excellent job of protecting my suitcase from scratches, and dirt. The stretchy material fits snugly over my suitcase. Despite the tight fit, it doesn’t feel like it will tear or stretch out too much over time, as the fabric is durable yet flexible. Pros: Protects luggage from scratches and dirt Sleek black and white polygon design makes it easy to identify Cons: May not fit over extremely large or bulky suitcases - I expanded my suitcase to allow for more room and when it arrived at baggage claim, the zipper came undone and it was bunched at the top Recommendation: maybe add a feature to "lock" the zipper in place to prevent it from unzipping automatically ... show more

I like that we can cover up our different suitcases and make them match when we are traveling. It will be easier to spot our luggage with these covers and prevent others from mistaking taking our luggage. Also, it will protect zippers! We haven’t used them yet so I’m not sure how they will hold up but they snug so I am not worried! ... show more

    • Cover got ripped

The appearance and color of the product was good at the first instance. Sadly, the cover got ripped at the seam after one hour of use, and before I could even check in my luggage at the airport. This damage was incurred just from going to the airport. I later realized that the cover would not fit if I chose to increase the size of my luggage which was quite a hassle. However, the cover was able to survive a two week international trip with several flights even after the first tear. It effectively protected my luggage and I did not see any stains on it, but it developed skid marks and few puncture marks by the end of the trip. ... show more
