When I tried the speakers out the first time everything worked well. The second time the led lights on the passive speaker didn't work. I have had the speakers about 96 days which means they can not be returned to Amazon. I contacted the manufacturer service department two times and have not heard from them. My advice is to buy some other speakers that may have a service support department. Zero stars for service support Update - Amazon got me connected with the customer support department and I was helped. We tried troubleshooting but in the end they replaced the speakers. The media could not be loaded. So when I picked up my item from FedEx I seen the box damaged. I pulled the speakers out and sure enough, the metal speaker protector is dented in! Unfortunately I can't return this because my wedding is November 9th, 2024. I would not get the replacement in time. So onto the good news, I set it up connected it to my phone no problems, really easy to use. The sound is amazing microphone works greate. Speaker wasn’t build correctly. The PA SPEAKER inside came apart want screwed on correctly fell and shorted the mother board. I have emailed them. We have gone front and back, they stop replying and giving me. They said they aren’t responsible for Amazon orders. Speaker was only used 2 times before going out. ... show more

The only thing I don’t like is the little humming when nothing is playing. But been DJing with them, they’re plenty loud the have some bass to them but you’ll want a sub to go with them for the louder you put them the more you’re going to want to lower the bass on the eq on the back of the active speaker to not over stress them out when filling a decent sized room. ... show more

    • led lights stopped working on one speaker
as long as music is playing the sound is great. If there is no music you hear a hum sound through the speakers. I have had these for 5 or 6 months and the LED lights stopped working on one speaker. They have never been dropped or banged up against anything.
