Absolutely fantastic, and it better be for this price. The lighter weight really is quite noticeable. Getting the visor film to adhere without any contaminants (hair, dust etc) is tricky - I recommend spending some time watching installs beforehand.

This helmet meets pretty much every expectation I could want. Its LIGHT and very aerodynamic. At 50mph you literally don't feel anything when you turn your head. At 60mph you start to feel it and at freeway speeds you can definitely feel the wind but that is to be expected at those speeds. It looks stunning, definitely one of the best-looking helmets on the market. I've gotten nonstop compliments on it. Everything seals up nice and the airpads are nice addition. Although I haven't had to use them yet. This helmet was VERY snug at first, it would give me headaches. After about a month it feels perfect. This is common knowledge on new helmets but for those who think they got the wrong size and it's too snug, give it some time. ... show more

1st review: Looks and has the feel of a quality helmet, but about the sizing chart... well, I don't know. With a 23 inch circumference and an intermediate oval head shape I ordered a large. I couldn't have squeezed into this thing if I had shaved my head and lubed up with a stick of butter. Back she goes! 2nd review: My 23 inch noggin with it's intermittent oval shape just slipped into a size XL. A snug fit, but not oppressively so. Rather comfortable now that it's on. I really, really like the look; a bit edgy and very aggressive! US and European certifications give me complete confidence in this helmet. Now for her first ride. ... show more

This is my second EXO-R1. Love the helmet. I’ve bought and used scorpion helmets for years. Never had an issue. My first EXO-R1 had some Quality control issues. The plastics on the back had started coming off, and the rubber edging around the bottom of the helmet started coming off. I super glued them back on. I had figured it was just a fluke. So after I put my bike down, I need to buy a new helmet, I bought another one. The quality on this one is also subpar. I will have to glue the plastics on the back, and I will have to reattach the plastic for the top air vent. I don’t know if I’ll be buying another scorpion helmet. I think it’s ridiculous that you spend over $500 on a helmet, and then have to do work on it when you get it. ... show more

Love it. Comfortable, the air pump adjustment, visors change quick, inside pads are soft and comfortable. Vents move air well. A bit more noise than my old HJC but still an amazing helmet. Very light weight.

looks good. did not fit my head. xl was way to loose and the large fit but the back of head/neck pressure was un bearable after 30 min or so. I tried a few times hoping break in would make it better yet riding was miserable. I've moved back to Shoei rf1400 and x-15. I am sure it's something to do with my head shape. Otherwise seemed like quality Helment yet couldn't really ride enough with it to give complete evaluation. ... show more
