I have a yellow lab who sheds like crazy several times per year. That’s my fur factory Maggie in the photo. I use this blanket as a sofa cover during those times. They are reasonably priced so I have several for sofa and loveseat; when one is in the laundry I can use another. I’m sure some of you are thinking “Lady are you nuts, using a dark brown sofa cover when the dog is shedding white fur?!” But the fur doesn’t stick to the blanket! Anyone who has a shedding dog knows the lengths (and cost) we go thru to keep our home, clothing and car looking somewhat presentable during shedding season. Some fabrics are fur-magnets and some are not. This is not. Also doesn’t pick up lint. The texture is slightly furry, and feels very soft & cozy, but the fur is not long enough to get lumpy-looking. I’ve washed them dozens of times and they still look new. I don’t baby them. Regular warm wash and I toss them in the dryer with a dryer sheet. They dry fast, no wrinkles, it’s a great fabric. They don’t get staticky. One side has a bit more sheen while the other side is more matte. I personally prefer the matte side, but they look great either way. I also bought some smaller ones to use as throw blankets. Since they perfectly match, I think the sofa looks a little neater that way. Hope this review is helpful! ... show more

These blankets are soft and will keep you warm. Have purchased many other blankets, but this is the favorite! Blanket is light weight and easy to care for. Quality is very good. Have bought 2 more since then.

Comes in several sizes. The colors are vibrant and shiny with a duller side but not dull. The colors are gorgeous. The quality is great, especially for the cost. Warm, but also just right for comfort or lightness. Multi purposed but poised for a cozy, comfort, and a pop of gorgeous color.

This is the softest, warmest, lightweight throw I have ever had. The green one is a bit darker than depicted, but for me that worked out fine. Therefore I purchased more. I also got different variations from the same store and they were all perfect. Oh! And no pilling. It is very soft, but I noticed immediately after the first wash that some of the threading was coming out. Don't think I will buy this particular kind again, as the threading isn't as durable as the other chevron looking material.
