We've only used this once on our weekend 'gl'amping trip last week, but it installed easily and seemed to work well. We didn't really need it for this trip because it was pretty cool and partly cloudy most of the weekend. We were mostly giving it a trial run. It does seem well made and seemed to handle the (fairly strong) wind pretty well. The added feel of privacy was nice. It is nice that you can un-zip the lower part quickly if a high wind (storm) is expected, and that the upper part rolls up nicely with the awning when you retract it. I gave it 4 stars in durability and value because I don't feel I can give an objective rating on that until we use it more, especially when it is hot and sunny. ... show more

Really blocks a lot of heat instantly after installing. Installing was very quick and easy. They should come with metal nail stakes instead of plastic ones but all in very satisfied with product.

For those of you that have had issues with the zipper, this is the cause and it is easily remedied. The mesh comes up to far behind the zipper and gets caught in the “zip” Get your scissors and trim it back closer to the stitching. It is a great screen. The zipper is more than adequate. Easy to install the upper panel with a short ladder and an extra set of hands to keep the shade straight as it was pulled into the track. Lower zip on portion easy to install solo. Anchor stakes plastic. Ok for some sites. I also have a set of metal stakes and some line to adjust the pitch.

    • Shade is great but zipper is crap.
Used 3 times before the a metal zipper parr broke. Too bad, the whole shade is toast because of a small zipper part that cost pennies.
