  • Probabley the best modeling tool I own.
I've been modeling for years, and with a roomful of tools Ive never found the perfect clamp. I'm building a DeAgostini Millennium Falcon at present, so Ive been throwing a lot of money into higher end tools. I bought these on a whim, and I LOVE them. I've bought three six packs so far, and I'm planning on a bunch more just so I'll always have some. I've also turned several hardcore modeling friends on to these, and I received nothing but praise from everyone who is using them now. Fantastic product. ... show more

  • Great for miniatures!
These little clamps are perfect for any hobbyist who deals with miniature builds. To have extra hands holding pieces together while the glue dries is priceless! I will be exploring other helpful tools available from this company.

  • Good for gripping small parts, etc.
Work OK but the slide that clamps it shut seem a little stiff and awkward to use.

  • Works well for miniatures
Bought to use when putting together miniature kits like “Kiki’s Magic Emporium”. Working well for clamping small pieces while the glue dries. I had been using rubber bands for some pieces, but these work better, are easier to apply, and are more versatile.

  • what good are they? UPDATE
is there no way to tighten the clamps? what good are they if not? buyer beware, clamps just sit where you place them, no pressure at all ] on what you're gluing????? update: so it is possible to tighten the clamps, by holding the clamp in place w/one hand & squeezing the sliding thing upward w/the other. this will tighten the clamp down, tho a little awkward. then again, it's cheap plastic, so you take what you get. ... show more

  • Great for scale modelers
Excellent clamps for plastic scale modeling. I build HO scale building kits, and these clamps are excellent for that and also freestyle kitbashing.

  • Worth it for what it is
For the price and quantity you get for this simple tool, I think they’re great. Yeah the plastic is a bit rough, but as a plastic modeler I have just the tools to fix that myself! In fact I plan on filing down a couple of the jaws to make a small parts version. It’s a simple design that uses a sliding wedge to place the clamps. It only gets as tight as you squeeze them with your fingers. Clamps with springs often squeeze too hard so this is an improvement over those for me at least. Excel, if you read this, I’d pay more for a ratcheting version this size if you ever make one. ... show more

  • Invaluable for artists and DYI'ers!
These little guys saved me a ton of time and effort in holding glued pieces together. Spring clamps are too aggressive on delicate projects, but with these, you can set the amount of tension you want them to have. I constructed this house and all the interior designs (not pictured), with these clamps helping to make my creative life much easier. I've been using them with all my craft and home improvement projects. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because they can sometimes slip out of placement because the clamp surfaces are smooth plastic with no rubber grips. But you can easily remedy that and work around it. ... show more
