This is an amazing little kit. Includes the battery, charger and bit set. Has plenty of power and a long battery life that you can even use mikita batteries if you need extra. To top it off it comes with a high quality carring bag that hold everything and room to throw in extra tools.

The media could not be loaded. I haven't done comparison shopping so can't speak to retail value. The motor feels very strong and tight. It comes with a large capacity battery, and has a convenient but small "control panel" to change speed ranges, turn the lights on / off, etc. The battery pack shows how much charge it currently contains. I got this driver to have more options to power drive screws and fasteners. The biggest dislike I have with this kit is the set of driver bits it comes with, and there's no mention in the operating manual how to insert and eject bits from the driver. I figured out how to insert and release the extender by trial and error. It's clear from looking at and inserting any of the bits, you have to use the extender unit; otherwise the bit sinks into the chuck such that it's unusable. With the extender, however, once it's locked in place, and won't come out unless you pull out on the retainer ring, there's still about 3/8" of loose play in and out of the chuck. (See the video.) With or without a driver bit in place, this seems to introduce an unnecessary amount of wobble. Even without the extender, using one of the two long Philips head drivers, the loose play still happens. I haven't tried to use it yet on a job, but it's not a good look for a power tool. Maybe the expectation is when you drive a screw, that will contain the movement, but that doesn't seem like a very good design. The extender has a sliding sleeve to help hold it and the fastener in place while driving. The sleeve will extend over the screwhead, if it's small enough, which would help to keep the driver in place, especially with slotted screwheads. The extender and sleeve don't seem to be well made or very durable. Another disappointment with the bit set case is the bit holders are fixed flat in place, making it difficult to retrieve and replace individual bits. They would be much more accessible if the holders were able to tilt up and down. I think I'll be looking into a better looking, more functional bit set with a solid extender. Bottom line: The driver, battery pack, and carrying bag are impressive but the the driver bit set it comes with is disappointing. You may need to replace that with a better one in order to realize the full potential of this power tool. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. 10/10 would buy again but I doubt I would ever need to since it seems very sturdy. Packaged well and the carrying case is the perfect size for convenient storage. I was immediately able to use it for 6+ hours right out of the package (battery comes with a partial charge) and could easily see getting 6-8 hours of fairly continuous use out of a single battery. It does not feel substantially heavier than other brands which is nice when working on vertical projects. The coolest feature is the ability to easily adjust between several different torque and speed settings. I have never had this ability on previous impact drivers I have used and was unsure how helpful this would be. Turned out to be super helpful to be able to decrease the torque and speed when working with thinner wood. It is not louder than other brands, the LED light is bright and can be intermittent or continuous, battery has charge indicator, easily accessible forward/reverse switch. ... show more
