After using many types (abrasive, cold-cutoff, and bandsaw) and brands of saws (Dewalt, Milwaukee, Bosch, Makita, DoAll, etc.) for over two decades, I decided to buy this when going out on my own. Faster than either an abrasive or bandsaw. More economical to purchase and easier to maintain and set up than a band saw. Highly accurate and very easy to use in fairly high production work. Would prefer a cast iron base rather than aluminum but I appreciate the weight and cost savings of the aluminum base. The ability to accurately and quickly change between angles is a terrific feature. The clamps work well and are easily adjustable. Really an all-around solution for much of my cutting. I buy/own a lot of tools and I do not leave reviews. However, I have to leave a review for this one. 1) Assembly- this saw was well thought out and as a result assembles super easy. There is no broken English b.s. In fact, there are no words- they use assembly diagrams which are very intuitive (see above pic). Only one tool required for assembly and it is included with the saw. I had this put together in 10 minutes. 2) Quality- No flimsy components at all. Everything feels rock solid. 3) THIS THING CUTS!! My first cuts were on 2" square tube. I was expecting some shaking/shuddering and there was none. It went through the tubing in seconds. You should have seen the smile on my face after the first cut. This is going to make my cutting life SOOO much easier. Up until now I had been using an angle grinder but never again. Some user complained of chips flying everywhere but there was less mess than with my angle grinder. I only had safety glasses and ear protection on (not a full face shield) and the chips were NEVER a concern. Didn't even require a respirator. It is expensive but in this case you get what you pay for. If you can afford it I highly recommend this saw. ... show more

The saw works great. I like all the different ways you can hold your material with. Being able to change cutting angle without moving material in a different position is the best thing about the saw for me.

I've written two other reviews in my life. This saw deserves a written review. It is a game changer. It was a large purchase for me but it is worth it. The saw takes cutting metal as easy as cutting wood. I hate plastic because it usually breaks. This saw has very little plastic on it. The parts that look plastic in the photos are not plastic. The quality of the saw is excellent! The cut accuracy is excellent! The 3 clamps for clamping down material was extremely well thought out and do an amazing job holding down all types of materials very, very well! Whoever designed the saw and clamp system, really thought it out. The saw was delivered 5 days earlier than promised. Since the rpms are at 1450 rpm the cuts are super precise, cool to the touch the second you finish cutting, there are no tear out edges. It's like cutting with a band saw but much, much faster. I would highly recommend this saw. I've only made about 40 cuts with it so far, I've been extremely impressed! ... show more

I’ve been using this saw for 2 years straight cutting at least a thousand sticks of 2x2x1/8 Aluminum in the last year and I couldn’t be happier, only recommendation for cutting aluminum with this saw is use pam to lube your blade so it doesn’t stick, I’ve cut a good amount of steel with this too and it works pretty well for that too ... show more

Putting together no big deal, simple and quick less 15 mins if you have good skills. After understanding the saw, did my first cutting, Oy !!! Smooth and quick. Amazing that the pieces can be picked up and handled. Not even hot ! It’s cool …. Very little sparks. My abrasive chop saw…. Out it goes !!! I made tons of stuff with this, I’m able cut angles. Whatever’s degrees to make my project work. I certainly will use this often…. The reviews and YouTube really sold me. Can’t go wrong. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this saw a few weeks now. I’m kicking myself! I should have made this move a long time ago. This thing is all that they say and more. If you cut steel on a regular basis, do yourself a favor and get this saw. Highly recommend the stand as well, the lift and stow away abilities make this even better. It makes for quick work on those jobs I used to struggle with. As long as you cut the steel how it recommended you’ll have no issues. No more burning or cutting your hands is just a bonus. ... show more
