I just saw I hadn't reviewed the EVGA Supernova 850W GT I purchased. It hasn't failed me in the slightest, works great, no issues, and online reviews are good. My current computer build is running right around 780 watts which is about what a fairly simple mid-high end no frills gaming system is. I bought another one tonight from Best Buy because I decided I wasn't going to use my old one on my new computer build this weekend and sell the old computer functional. All I really see are Corsair reviews but I would say if it's between the EVGA 850 GT and Corsair 850x, and the EVGA is less expensive, which of this writing it's $60 cheaper, just get the EVGA and save yourself the money. ... show more

Worked as expected for two years, then one day my PC wouldn't turn on. After some troubleshooting I narrowed it down to the power supply. Luckily I kept my receipt and was able to register it through EVGA and begin the RMA process. I had to pay for shipping to EVGA (industry standard) and I got a notification that my replacement unit was shipped out the day they received my failed unit. All in all the process took 6 days. It would have been great if I didn't have to RMA at all, but it was pretty painless and I believe my experience is rare. I would buy an EVGA power supply again. ... show more
