I just had colostomy reversal surgery and I wanted to get back to work after three weeks. I work hard labor with 55 gal drums and 5 gal pails alot of heavy lifting and up and down forklifts. I put this brace on and it doesn't even feel like I had surgery. It holds tight all day. This binder is super light and comfortable but offers enough support. I love that I'm able to bend and move more freely in this binder than in other more inflexible ones. This has definitely helped with reducing some of my swelling.

Nicely made, keeps me from popping mesh over abdomen, so far doing what it's supposed to. I had a binder from the hospital and it was too wide. Pinched my sides at belt line and the bottom of my moobs. This purchase replaces the old and it's much more comfortable. I've just started using it, so can't comment in it's long term use. Overall good brace for lumbar/sacral support. Be certain to measure for size. Needed an XS, received a S. However, personal choice as to tightness of brace. This is my second brace. First, was 15 years ago. Good purchase.

The actual product is totally NOT as described, and NOT product I was lead to believe I was ordering. From size, to material, to providing ABSOLITELY NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER. May as well of stuck a band aid on it, would have recieved more support if I'd wrapped an ace bandage around my waist which does nothing for the pain, support and so called Healing of your injury and recovery. Seriously Major Dissappointment and niw dont know where to look and find the brace that my PT had actually intended to refer fir me and used to fit me with. Uggh! Frustrating and time consuming. Whatever the brace is (or wrap rather) that they send in place if the one shown and described is a useless substitute and nothing more than a piece if material with Velcro (which btw is the only function about this brace that actually does anything, or even something!!! I like the 9" width of this binder-hard to find in black color. Very comfortable (I had 6 abdominal surgery hernias repaired in April) and I have to continue to wear the binder whenever I lift something heavier than 20 pounds. Quality material. Going to buy additional binders. Very satisfied~~~

While the product is a perfect fit and is very supportive I can't wear it due to the smell. It's an odor comparable to a rubber factory. I didn't know bamboo charcoal would smell so bad. I have washed it numerous times and left it in the sun hoping the smell would subside but it hasn't. This is why I gave it only a 2 star in comfort and an overall 2. ... show more

Got this for my husband after he had hernia surgery. It has been great. When I’ve washed it I put it in with something on the gentle cycle then take it out before it spins and roll it up in a towel to get most of the water out then hang it up to dry. It has been great.
