I don’t give 1 star reviews often but the scent of this deodorant is that bad. I’ve used Every Man Jack for years, but this is the first time trying this scent. It smells like baby powder, and is overwhelming. The smell is nauseating and you can smell it hours after putting it on. This is not my idea of a “fresh” scent.     • LOVE THE SMELL!
I had to give this a shot once when I saw it at Target (the store in my area no longer carries this scent). I didn't care for the other scents quite as much as the Activated Charcoal. It doesn't keep me from sweating, but it does smell amazing! My wife compliments me on how I smell every time I wear it. It does begin to wear off near the end of the day, but the odor isn't offensive. You'll definitely have to wash and reapply every day. A small price to pay for not shoving aluminum and other toxic stuff into my armpits. ALSO . . . I found out this stuff is really soft, so I wouldn't travel with it if you're going to be in a warm climate for a long period of time. The last time I bought some, I took the base out once it got down to the bottom, and realized a lot of the product had actually pushed through the base and was in the bottom part of the container. With what I was able to gather of the remnant product from underneath the base, I was able to use for another 2-3 weeks. So once you get to the bottom of the base, take it out and look underneath to make sure you're not throwing extra money away. ... show more

Scent: Citrus
I don't know how to explain, but the citrus scent just smells... weird. Not what I expected. I noticed the sandalwood scent at my grocery store and gave that a try, it was a much better scent. The citrus is sort of too strong and too sharp, if you know what I mean. Love the sandalwood, but probably gonna throw out the citrus. ... show more

    • Stains underarms of clothes
This product is different than previous Everyman jack deodorants. It left oily stains in my clothes which had to be treated several times. Great scent but would not recommend this product unless you don’t mind the potential for underarms of clothing staining.

Doesn’t work for long periods and it has this gel like feeling. Also stains cloths really easily, have had a lot of shirts get stained with this.

    • Fresh, minty, and doesn't turn my underarm into a fiery pit!
Scent: Signature Mint
I have an allergy to aluminium. Not the cans, but the crap they put in deodorant to turn it into antiperspirant. That crap makes my underarm beet red and itch like hell. I have spent my whole life allergic to this stuff and it's been a tragic and difficult path finding a deodorant that not only persists throughout the day but provides a scent that doesn't smell as bad or worse as my own pits. I tried other "organic" brands and they either make me smell like I am overdosing on granola or that I didn't put it on in the first place. I wanted something that smells good and keeps smelling good. I don't know about you but I don't like keeping a stick of deodorant in my back pocket to periodically re-apply throughout the day. I suppose you have to have hobbies but that seems a bit much. I also don't like spending a lot of money on something that should be routine maintenance stuff. Enter "Every Man Jack" Signature Mint. This delightful stuff delivers a refreshing minty scent for the whole day and I don't itch at all. It smells nice and I feel free, unlocked from the limited options other deodorant brands provide. In addition, while it's not cheap, it's certainly reasonably priced. I also like the packaging. Not many people looking in my bathroom drawers but if they do, this looks very manly. I highly recommend "Every Man Jack" for those looking to make their pits smell like a breath mint and have that smell last all day long. It doesn't itch or turn my underarms into a hot red mess. The packaging is masculine and woody, a good thing if you have people frequently looking at your deodorant like at the gym or if you do have the hobby of putting on deodorant throughout the day. ... show more

    • Finally, natural deodorant that isn’t just soap
I’ve been using natural deodorants since I was about 13, since the aluminum stuff gives me painful staph infections in my armpits and I can’t use it at all. Every single brand I’ve tried (even some of everyday jack’s lineup) has been an over glorified bar of soap, and I’d been being made fun of for being a stinky hippy since middle school. This bar of deodorant here actually feels like deodorant; it doesn’t wash off with water or sweat immediately like soap, and the activated charcoal won’t give me staph infections. I’ll tell you I was blown away when I could still smell this on me at the end of the day, even old spice wont last that long on me. I even ran errands on my bike in humid summer heat for a few hours yesterday to really test it out, and for me it performed just as well as any other antiperspirant. Folks, the bar is set very low for men’s deodorant. This product is a great step in the right direction, but come on I’m just happy I don’t have to get a nasty puss filled sore cut open and that it actually does its job, too. ... show more
