I’ve been bombarded by TV ads for this product for months and months, and I finally caved. My pits do have their own personal smell, which, to be honest, smells a lot like everyone else’s pits smell like. Pitty. I decided to give this product a shot and boy, am I glad I did. It works beautifully. I haven’t done the 72 hour challenge, but I’ve done more than 48, and I can hardly smell anything, other than the light scent of the deodorant, and even that goes away after a day. Now, some people will say that this product smells horribly, some people won’t. I think this is just a case of whether you have that gene or not, like the cilantro/soap gene, or the pork/urine gene (look it up, seriously). But, if you DON’T have that gene, this works like crazy. I bought the sample pack, because I wanted to try it out, and because I wanted to see what scent I liked the best. (no use dropping a bundle on a scent you don’t like, right?) And so far, every one I’ve tried has been a winner. The other thing is, you might have to get used to rubbing the cream into your armpit (just the TINIEST bit works. Trust me), but if that doesn’t bother you then this is the product for you. I am serious. This is the product for you. UPDATE: 72 Hour Challenge accepted! Last week I applied my usual pea sized lump to both my armpits, and did not shower again until Monday morning, so that means all of Friday, all of Saturday, and all of Sunday, 72 hours, I was odor free. Positively. It’s the winter right now where I live, so I’m not doing a WHOLE lot of sweating, but I am doing some, so maybe a better test would be in the summer, but I’m satisfied!. This stuff works. Mine hasn’t been the instant success story of most everyone else’s. I was almost going to give up on my unscented Lumē as I’d been using it for over three weeks and still noticed odor within a few hours. I caved and reverted to my old extra-strength aluminum deo for a day, but I noticed the smell persisted underneath the fragrance. I think I simply hadn’t gone without that deodorant long enough to fine-tune my nose to the exact odor. My choice was to either keep masking it or do something proactive about it. So, I bought Nature’s Miracle as per the Prep instructions and treated ALL of my shirts. I used half the bottle doing it because most of my shirts are old (I hate shopping). I have anxiety and nervous-sweat, which I used to think was the direct cause of the odor, so I realized my shirt pits were coated with all the extra-strength antiperspirant/deodorant I obsessively applied. Do NOT pass over this step, if only for an EXCELLENT way to treat old stains and yellowing! I notice a big difference - natural perspiration with next to no smell!! It’s not sweat’s fault as other deodorant advertising would have us believe. Notice how I say “next to no smell.” I was super embarrassed to do it, but I asked my bf to sniff my unscented Lumē-treated pits and give an honest opinion. He said it wasn’t offensive BO, it was just my natural scent which he actually thinks is a turn-on. I think I’ve become so used to strong fragrance masks that I forgot that a clean body can still have a mild organic scent and what my own was. There IS a difference between what I detect now vs what was lingering in my shirts before! Then I bought the sampler pack with scented versions because I know essential oils can be antibacterial. (I’m a chemist, not a follower of the Essential Oils Cure All movement.) The scent wears off pretty quickly - a plus in my book, otherwise they are defeating their own “water-based” and “no masking” selling points - and I’m odor-free even longer than with the unscented version. The silver spruce and lavender sage ones are my favorites! I certainly do not get 72 hours of protection - maybe 10 - but with the tiny tubes available to carry around and the itty bitty amount per application, I still gain convenience and monetary value when applying with the same frequency as my old deodorant. Plus, no aluminum or damaging my wardrobe. Score! (I won’t dock a star for the 72-hr advertising because I know I sweat more than average due to anxiety, genetics, and an autoimmune disease that affects my body’s ability to regulate its temp. I’m almost always overheating.) It took some patience, but here I am, nervous-sweating like I do, and it DOESN’T SMELL. Whaaaat? I even...I TOUCHED it, guys. Wiped it off with the back if my hand like I would my forehead. Nothing! It doesn’t gross me out to touch my pits anymore. They are no longer unmentionable petri dishes of nasty. Just air ‘em out and love your Lumē. I also told Lumē that I’d love to see a version with tea tree oil for its antifungal properties. It’s great for athlete’s foot and ladies who are prone to yeast infections with external symptoms. With regular use, it could help defeat odor AND act as a preventative treatment. TL;DR: They ain’t lying when they say BO gets trapped in clothing. Nature’s Miracle is a miracle. Buy it now. Lumē definitely works against BO but you have to start with a clean slate, have some patience, undo the way you used to think about sweat, and accept that SOME organic body scent is normal and healthy. ... show more

They all have the same underlying stench, including the “unscented ”. It hurts the back of my sinuses and curls my nose hairs. It smells like BO before you even apply it. I still gave it the “old collage try” for a few weeks now, working through one sent at a time ( I didn’t open them all at once). I’ve never been so self conscious of how I smell. The longer I wear it the worse it gets. I felt like even with its smell, it stoped my personal BO,that lasted 2 days… but now I’ve given up and I am so disappointed with the amount of money I spent on this product. No rash, no irritation, I sweat too much to expect any assistance in that department, it didn’t help, it feels weird to rub stuff into my arm pit with my fingers and the stench of the product stays on my hands all day while I eat, or shake hands or present myself in public. I know we all have our own body chemistry that reacts to different things in different ways but for $30 and 5 scents, NONE WERE TOLERABLE. Lume has gotten extremely expensive, and so I decided to get the sample to see about other scents besides my favorite which is the coconut one. I was disappointed to see that I only got 4 in what was suppose to be a 5 pack. Too bad I didn't notice until I had already opened one and used it. Didn't notice until I went to do a return of a different item. This was very expensive to just get 4 even though I paid for 5, and the bottles are super tiny. I think I'm going to have to find something new. Lume is just getting way too expensive. ... show more
