What a gorgeous and unique color. The fabric is so soft and well sewn. It’s not heavy which makes it great year round- perfect for layering in the colder months. It doesn’t wrinkle at all if you lay flat for a few minutes while it cools from the dryer. I would definitely recommend washing it before use- (which I recommend for any textile) as there is a bit of a faint smell when you open the box. (Compared to other products the smell is minimal). One thing I love about this set is they didn’t skimp on fabric, as do a lot of other companies. I got a king and it is the perfect length and width. I can’t speak to stain resistance because I haven’t stained it, but I’d imagine it does well due to ease of wiping down the fabric. ... show more

Beautiful, quality made. Love it! So soft! It’s like a blanket that has been already broken in- not stiff like some velvet comforters I bought before. I don’t think it need it , but I’d steam the opposite side for wrinkles. It was fine and didn’t need it. This is the 6th velvet comforter I have bought in the last few years. I got the king sized quilt in Stormy Blue to pair with the duvet cover pictured, and in terms of color, this quilt is PERFECT. Pros: ~ Stormy Blue was just as pictured, and the perfect color for what I wanted. ~ The instructions said to wash, and the nap would fluff up - and they were right! ~ The velvet feels super soft. Cons: ~ This quilt is definitely NOT oversized. It's barely bigger than my king sized duvet. I was expecting something that came down past the mattress, and it does not. My mattress isn't a super tall mattress, either. I'm honestly disappointed in the size - the picture for the item shows a quilt that looks MUCH bigger than what I got. ... show more
