Of course I had to snuggle up with it immediately after taking it out of the box and apparently so did my kitty. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him sleep so hard. Not as silky feeling as I was thinking it was going to be, but it’s still plenty soft on both sides and the weight of the blanket is nice. It’s on the heavier side and I like that. I love the size, a throw just isn’t enough for me, I want to be able to tuck it under my chin and not have my toes pop out the other side lol. My husband likes to keep it frigid in the house all year so I live with my blankets lol. Definitely my favorite so far. ... show more

I have bought 5 of these blankets!! 6 including the one I just unboxed, I noticed a few things. I ordered 3 of the Carmel brown blanket is very soft and nice I got one for my dad mom and myself. The one I ended up getting is not nearly as soft I didn’t mind at first but now it looks crusty and old, even though I’ve had it for less than 2 months. Now I recently ordered the charcoal one. And oh my is it my new favorite it just might be the softest blanket I’ve ever touched in my life!!!!! so after ordering that one I bought myself the mocha brown one. So excited for it!! but when I opened the box to the blanket my hopes were crushed as soon as I put my hands over it. It felt waxy. Out of the other 5 blankets I ordered none of them ever felt waxy, I have thought that maybe some other color blankets have different softness but either way the blanket should never feel waxy! I also read in one other person’s review the same thing happened to them not as soft as another blanket previously ordered, they are amazing quality and pretty heavy. No other blanket you will find will have as good quality but none of them should feel waxy. Over all the blankets are very nice and good quality especially if you don’t mind one not being as soft as you wanted it to be. But me on the other hand I need a soft blanket not a waxy one lol ... show more
