Easily installed with a bit of finesse and care. Pay attention to removal of old ones helps figure out install the new. Took about an hour for the pair. Tight fit does require taking your time. I used a bit of WD40 at the old red plastic electrical connection which made releasing it much easier.

I initially had to return the first set of headlights because one was damaged. I was able to return then, they shipped me another set. They were in good condition. Not sure why the Volvo XC-90 headlights seem to deteriorate so easily. I haven't noticed that problem on other vehicles. These replacements made the car look like new again. Installation is fairly simple and should take a few minutes each side. They have a red locking cap that needs to be pulled out in order to unplug/plug-in. The two metal rod clips that hold the unit in place also have to line up after replacing the headlight, which might be a tighter fit with new seals. They also look alike but are two different sizes, so don't mix them up. ... show more

Had them installed. All lights worked except the main lights. Mechanic had to do something’s to make them work. Now my dashboard shows bulb error. I can live with that. 305 for a pair compared to over a thousand each at the dealer. But I would like to know if the error can be removed
