Satin Dream: I had been having a tough time with stiff, dry hair and two products have really helped: 1. Malibu C chelating shampoo (for hard water) and 2. Eva NYC's leave-in cream. It left my thick, coarse hair soft and moisturized - I've really liked it. If your hair isn't thick & coarse, I'd use very little or something else altogether because it is rich. My only complaint is that it does not offer heat protection so this is best if you air-dry. I'm going to be trying EVA·NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer after this. I very much enjoyed the Satin Leave-in cream but the Gotta Bounce leaves a surprisingly waxy feel to my hands when applying. It is very heavy/thick and I would not recommend to anyone with fine hair. My own coarse and high-porosity wavy hair did not like the product; it felt weighed down without being hydrated. Perhaps it is more appropriate to coily or tightly curled hair but I'd still be concerned about that film ... show more

I have fine mixed wavy and curly hair and this is my go to product. It has a neutral smell (kind of like playdough or lotion, not gonna lie.) And I can use very little of this with water in dry hair to get rid of the frizz, without weighing my hair down. I also love their hair mask.

I like the way this leave in cream feels on my hair. It’s not super heavy and makes my hair feel soft , also helps control my frizzles. All of the other NYC hair products I’ve tried smell amazing, so I was a bit disappointed in the smell of this one. I opted for the eva hydrating leave-in instead of some more expensive leave-in options and I’m glad I did. I have thick, low-porosity waves and my hair DRINKS this stuff up. It is super lightweight and leaves my hair feeling soft all day.
