I think its a very hydrating conditioner but I really didn't notice any difference in my hair regarding the toning effect. Not sure about actual product because I’ve only used it once but pump on bottle doesn’t work despite twisting, turning, pulling, etc. had to take pump off to get to product and it’s a super thick consistency-much like cream cheese.
