I dont write a lot of reviews but occasionally feel the need to take the time to do so when a product is extra amazing. We have a 12 year old sectional that was very expensive and very good quality. All of the pillows on the sectional were custom made with down inserts. The couch is still going strong but feeling like I wanted to get new pillows for looks and also just feeling like replacement of pillows was needed, even though we regularly clean the couch and pillows. I found some covers I loved on Amazon, and Etsy and now needed inserts. We first bought inserts that were a little cheaper-but not much than the down insert-and they were terrible. Looked and felt cheap. We then saw these inserts were a little more but we wanted the pillows to look beautiful and be comfortable to lay on. Wow- these inserts are the best. We are so happy we went with down. We had to go up 2 sizes in pillow insert -so for example if our pillow was 26x26 we bought a 30x30 insert. So fluffy and big! Fits my German Ikea beeding like a glove (I bought the 30x30). I didn't smell bad at all. My son loved his birthday present so much, he insisted he had to take it to College with him (even though he will be back in two weeks). It makes a great gift. Already ordered another one.

I'm going to be honest, I'm not 100% satisfied just because it still has a little smell. I don't know if it's my expectation or what, but I saw others didn't comment about smell so I took it for granted that it doesn't have. It's a little disappointing, because if you are like me and are sensitive to duck smell you might need to know. But it could be hard to find a pillow so big, with such good a price, yet still doesn't smell at all. And to be honest, it's not unbearable, I still put the pillow on my bed. My comparison is a much smaller pillow that I got from Parachute Homes and it cost $200, that one doesn't have any smell at all, but again, it's very expensive. I bought this 28x28 pillow one size up from the cover (26x26). I fluffed it in the dryer for about 10 mins & it’s fabulously fluffy and it completely fills out the euro pillow cover. I had bought a two pack of “down alternative” at a cheaper price, but they aren’t nearly as nice. Spend the extra $ (and this isn’t a lot) for this pillow insert! ... show more
