If you're looking for a canopy that only one person can easily put up, then it isn't this one. It is possible for one person to put it up, but it's definitely not easy. Other than that, this is a great canopy. I have used it twice now, both days being breezy. Instead of filling the bags with sand, I used some extra slate we had laying around at home. I needed temporary shelter once a week, for about 3 hrs, for a class taught outdoors. This tent was not the most expensive, and not the cheapest, but moderately priced. I hoped it would do the job. I assumed it was made in China, as everything else is, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover that these are made in the US. There is no assembly required at all, other than putting on the (light-weight) canvas top. They recommend you take the canvas off after each use, but I have not done that. The whole thing goes in the bag easily, and saves a lot of time. Eurmax has a more expensive model, but I bought the 10x10 Standard, and it has exceeded my expectations. The design, engineering, and production are first rate. An added bonus is that they have a good website, where you can buy accessories directly, and I have done that. I bought a sidewall kit, and use one of the walls to block the Eastern sun. If you use a sidewall, you will absolutely have to hold the tent down, or it will sail away with any wind greater than 10 mph. It comes with sandbags, but that is not enough. I bought tent stakes, and those have made the difference. If you use it on concrete, they sell weights that fit around the legs (they are expensive). If you use more than one tent (I have two), they sell connectors to hook two tents together. That adds a lot of stability. With all these options, this has turned out to be a very cost-effective way to create a tall, temporary shelter of 200 sq ft. Two people can put these up and down, but four people makes it easy. I can put them up by myself by looping a steel cable from my trailer hitch, around one leg of the tent, and back to the hitch. I can do that in less than 5 mins. With 2-4 people, it takes about one min. I have not used these tents in the rain, and hope not to. If you do, you had better have a sidewall kit, as rain will blow in. I purchased this tent because of all the great reviews. I’m a vendor at my local FM and needed a tent that was reliable. This tent is well made and you can feel/see the difference between this and “other” tents made elsewhere. I wasn’t sure if I was ready to drop that kind of money of a tent but this will last for years and it’s a great investment. If you cut corners and buy a cheap one, you’ll get what ya paid for. I bought this for $169 - $10 discount on Prime Day 2019. I have used it several times since. This is the 2nd canopy tent that I owned. The previous was from Christmas Tree Shop for $100. The previous only lasted 1 season before the wind blew it over and the thing literally got demolished beyond repair. Quality ===== I rate quality 9/10 The first thing I noticed upon receipt of the Eurmax canopy was the quality. The tent bag, the canopy itself, the stakes and everything about it was well thought out. Quality exceeded my expectations The metal used was definitely stronger than my previous canopy but not so strong that it would survive a storm but at least strong enough for most normal situations. Assembly ======= I rate assembly 9/10. On the initial opening of the box, I was a little confused for the first 10 minutes, But once I tried to put up the tent it all just came together for me. And once I did it once subsequent attempts to raise the tent have been trivial. It is easiest to raise the canopy with 4 people (each on 1 corner) but can also be done fairly easily with 2 people (taking turns on 2 corners each) but once I got the hang of it, I can do it by myself (expanding each corner a little at a time.) Expanding the tent isn't bad but raising each leg for each corner is admittedly difficult by yourself Disassembly =========== I rate Disassembly 10/10. Taking down the canopy is super easy with 2 people but can definitely be done with 1 person. I had few if any difficulties here Storage ===== I rate 10/10. Initially I was worried that the canopy would fit in the bag it came with. But it does fit perfectly. The bag itself is VERY high quality and has inside pockets for accessories and instructions. Very easy to store the canopy once it is disassembled Customer Service ============ I rate Customer Service 10/10. When I received the canopy it was missing the stakes but I contacted the seller and they sent them right away. I would do biz with these guys again and would buy this product again. Very satisfied with this purchase. I feel like the canopy is easy enough to assemble/disassemble and store that I can easily do so between uses so this canopy should last for many, many years, ... show more
