I adore this dryer! It squeaks when the barrel reverses, but it doesn’t bother me. It dries really quickly and well and is ideal for a small space. No need to vent outdoors. UPDATE: Today, it just stopped. At first I thought the outlet needed to be reset so I unplugged the dryer and tried again. The control panel lights do not turn on. It just died. I’ve had it for a year and a half and now it’s not working. Customer service has been excellent in the past so I hope they can help to resolve this issue.     • A Wonderful Little Machine!

This is a wonderful little machine! It fits tiny places, is easy to move around, and does a good job of drying the clothes. I mainly wanted it for sheets, towels, & lightweight blankets. I washed my 2 tablecloths and 4 chair covers tonight. Within a couple of hours, they were back in place clean and free of cat hair. I dried the load in two batches, first the tablecloths and then the 4 chair covers. Both dried very quickly. It is very, very quiet. I barely hear it running at all. It makes my window AC sound like a jet plane. Perfect for small spaces and renters. I was trying to figure out how to vent it to the outside and in the process ordered a window vent that was misrepresented in the description and had to return it. I closed the window a little hard in frustration and can't get it open again. Now what? I thought about rolling it outside when I'm using it, but didn't want the hassle. I finally just decided to try it vented indoors and it really didn't heat the house up at all. Maybe in the high summer heat, but for an evening load in the 70s outside it was fine. I might just get the indoor dryer vent. But in all honesty, I didn't see any lint blowing out of the vent. Maybe with towels that will be different. Overall, I am so happy I ordered this dryer. I can't say it better than another reviewer who said it perfectly already when she wrote it improved the quality of her life dramatically. It sure does! No more "ghosts" made of sheets hanging all over the place with fans blowing on them (ghosts hanging from ceiling fans, doorways, over exercise equipment, clothes racks, the occasional lampshade, etc.) No more wet clothes that take so long to dry they start to smell funny. It does a great job getting the cat hair off everything too. Just need to clean the lint trap regularly. I won't be embarrassed anymore if someone stops by. Just buy one! ... show more

Since the Black & Decker dryer wasn’t available for delivery at the same time, I decided to try this little dryer instead—and I’m so glad I did! It was more affordable, arrived faster, and has exceeded my expectations. This dryer gets to work right away. All I had to do was plug it in, place it on a roller cart, and roll it over to the window when in use. It dries everything we need efficiently, and when we’re done, it’s easy to put away. It’s been a fantastic solution for my small space! It does something a little odd in the red mode, where it clicks on and off. I’m not sure if that’s part of an energy-saving feature, but it doesn’t bother me because the clothes still come out perfectly dry. For the price, I couldn’t be happier! I recently purchased this dryer for my mom who lives in a senior apartment complex. The size is a great size, compact and sturdy enough to hold a load but lightweight enough for my mom to move around with no problems. This fits a decent sized load of clothes and dries well. The media could not be loaded. I got the larger capacity dryer ( 13. Something pounds). It was extremely well packaged, in fact had two think pieces of wood at the ends. It took me longer to unpack it than it did to set it up. Just a note for the dyslexic and perplexed ( like l was) The instruction manual is in the drum of the dryer. It took me a while to figure out how to get the darned door open. For those who find themselves similarly perplexed there is an indented handle on the inner ring of the door on the right. Once you find that it’s easy to open and the instruction manual is inside. It was very easy to set up and does come with a vent hose. You just need to buy something to put on the end. If you watch the video l got this off Amazon too and you just put water in it. This dryer performs like a champ. It actually does much better than my old full sized dryer. My friend, who is a clutz, managed to break my dryer a month ago. Because l have so much crap in my basement ( where the dryer is) l couldn’t order a replacement because there isn’t a path in due to all the junk. I ordered this one and it is in my back room. I have had it for 3 days and, because l had a months worth of laundry, it has been going none stop. It dries my clothes faster than my old dryer and is very quiet. I love the display and it gives a little buzz when the load is done. With the exception of a blanket all my loads were completely dry by about 2/3rds into the cycle. The only thing l would change about it is the lint filter. I am old and have terrible arthritis and l have to get on my hands and knees to empty the lint filter, which is in the back of the drum.
