Tried to use it for a direct connection to a TV and a TV box. When I turned on the TV box, the TV complained about losing connection. So if that's what you're trying to do, don't use this. Only meant for one device at a time. Update: The seller has offered to refund my purchase. Thank you.

This connector did not add any cat5 ports for use just extra slots. so when i plugged in 2 items neither would connect. am I doing something wrong or does this connector have some function default? I was unable to ask the vendor directly so I'm sending it back. Waist of my time and effort.

Plug into router modem showed power/signal was present. None of the 3 outgoing splitter Ethernet ports showed power/signal when devices plugged in. I do NOT recommend this item.
