  • Worked great for Nintendo switch
Style: USB 3.0 (Switch Compatible)
This Ethernet adapter worked perfect for my switch base in order to hard wire the switch into my network. Doesn’t seem to lag, though the size could make it difficult to fit in tight spaces. Doesn’t product any heat that I can see and is plug and play so you don’t have to fiddle with things. So far no issues after a few weeks so durability seems pretty rock solid. ... show more

  • Works Great
Style: USB 3.0 (Switch Compatible)
Have had a competing companies adapter for a couple of years, it started slowing down considerably, and the last couple of days I started getting a blue screen in Windows 11, saying I had a hardware failure. I started deleting device drivers under device manager, and restarting my PC, to no avail. Finally figured out that "maybe" it was the external adapter. Yes, it was the problem. So apparently these adapters can go bad over time. This replacement fixed it, fast gigabit speeds (970mbps), and no dreaded blue screens in Windows. Works great, and this adapter (on Sale) was less expensive, and has a more innovative design to snap the USB cable end to the adapter. ... show more

  • Works great! Got a solid 1Gbps speed!
Style: USB 3.0 (Switch Compatible)
After struggling with a faulty Ethernet port on my motherboard for the past two years, I had to rely on Wi-Fi for my internet connection. Fortunately, my system supports Wi-Fi 6, which generally provided decent speeds. However, I occasionally experienced instability, especially during gaming sessions when the 5G connection would drop for a few seconds. Finally, I decided to seek out a USB 3.0 Ethernet adapter for a more reliable solution. I purchased this product and was delighted with the prompt delivery. It was truly a plug-and-play experience—my system automatically detected the LAN connection, and I was up and running with 1 Gbps speeds right away. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this device! ... show more

  • USB to Ethernet connection, works solid with high speed!
Style: USB 3.0 (Switch Compatible)
This device is pretty small but effective. It just plugs into the computer via USB port. You then plug a standard Ethernet cable into the other end, and thats it... The computer automatically registers the USB port as an Ethernet connection to the internet, and you'll get a wired-connection symbol on your internet icon in the taskbar tray. It is obviously not optimal speed, as the data has to pass through the Adapter first. However, I bought this as an emergency Ethernet for my Desktop PC, as it has no wireless card and the Ethernet port went bad. It works spectacularly. It was a tad slower, but not by a whole lot, I was still able to download a 3GB game in a few minutes. This product is also great if you have a laptop that does not have an Ethernet port and you need to wire directly without WiFi. For NON-TECH people: I literally only needed to plug it in the USB, then into the Internet Cable. And BAM internet. Works and gives a solid speed. also, it is pretty cheap on the wallet, but its not super cheap feeling in the hand/plugged in.Its good for the price for sure. ... show more

  • A Little Buggy
Style: USB 3.0 (Switch Compatible)
Mostly a good adapter, but I noticed slower than expected speeds and some HTTP file downloads get corrupted. I tracked down the problem and it's because TX offload doesn't work correctly on this network adapter. On Linux, I ran this command to bypass this offloading feature: ethtool -K <iface> tx off And everything worked great after that. So yes, it does work with Ubuntu 24 on the 6.8 kernel, but you might need to tweak the settings. Clearly there's an issue with some of the hardware acceleration features. I recommend you do a large file download over HTTP (not HTTPS!) and make sure you're not seeing data corruption. ... show more

  • It works great
Style: USB 3.0 (Switch Compatible)
My laptop only has a USB so I came across this solution. Wifi was only getting 40 mb/s with a 250mbs modem. Got this adaptor and a CAT6 cable and now I'm maxing my modem out at 290mbs. Pretty sweet and a great solution to a slow connection! P.s. after a short read a CAT6 and a CAT8 cable do the same thing, but a 6 handles up to 10gigs/s at 160ft and 8 handles up to 40gigs at 90ft. ... show more
