  • Easy to use
Style: USB 3.0 (Switch Compatible)
This is really easy to use. All you do is plug it into your computer and then whatever you need on the other end. We use this to plug in to our solar panel box to get a quick reading of the output. It connected quickly to our laptop and the cable was a nice length. The design makes it super easy to use. Overall, works great. The price for this is excellent and made our lives so much easier when the solar panels didn’t connect via Bluetooth. ... show more

  • Compact and Reliable
Style: USB 3.0 (Switch Compatible)
This is my go to adapter. I keep coming back to get another for family and friends or just to use on other devices. I just throw it in my bag and it still works every time. The cable isn't gonna get cut or break unless if you want it to. Works on laptops, switch, even a walmart onn tv box if you use an otg cable. ... show more

  • USB to Ethernet connection, works solid with high speed!
Style: USB 3.0 (Switch Compatible)
This device is pretty small but effective. It just plugs into the computer via USB port. You then plug a standard Ethernet cable into the other end, and thats it... The computer automatically registers the USB port as an Ethernet connection to the internet, and you'll get a wired-connection symbol on your internet icon in the taskbar tray. It is obviously not optimal speed, as the data has to pass through the Adapter first. However, I bought this as an emergency Ethernet for my Desktop PC, as it has no wireless card and the Ethernet port went bad. It works spectacularly. It was a tad slower, but not by a whole lot, I was still able to download a 3GB game in a few minutes. This product is also great if you have a laptop that does not have an Ethernet port and you need to wire directly without WiFi. For NON-TECH people: I literally only needed to plug it in the USB, then into the Internet Cable. And BAM internet. Works and gives a solid speed. also, it is pretty cheap on the wallet, but its not super cheap feeling in the hand/plugged in.Its good for the price for sure. ... show more

  • Decent product
Style: USB 3.0 (Switch Compatible)
Does what it is designed to do. No faults there. Decent shape, decent price, decent quality. Only concern is the 'usb' part, as it fits very loosely on my PC where as other USB items fit perfectly.

  • Worthless on TVs which only include a 100mbit port.
Style: USB 3.0 (Switch Compatible)
5/5 because it DOES work…but tried bypassing my TV LAN Port through hardwiring. Come to find out my TV, as good as it is, only supports 10/100mbits. Better off using your WiFi. If you’re using this for a TV make sure your TV LAN supports up to 1gbit, or any Ethernet port for that matter. TVs don’t seem to want to incorporate a 1gbit port. Sent it back. ... show more

  • Wired gigabit networking with just a free USB port
Style: USB-A with 3-Ports
I have several of these, both the cheaper sort that only has the networking jack and also the more expensive model that contains both a USB hub and the networking jack. Both models seem to work well for giving a device gigabit wired networking, and the model with the USB hub also works for giving you extra USB jacks. And as others have commented, this device is "plug and play" (i.e. just plug it in, and it works). And I have confirmed "gigabit speeds" out of this device, although I suspect you would get slower speeds if you used inferior networking cables/switches and/or your device had a slower USB port (but in both of those cases the slowdown would be the fault of something this adapter is connected to, vs the fault of the adapter itself). However, like all "plug and play" devices, this adapter does require the device you are using it with to have the needed drivers already installed/present. In the case of this adapter, that means your connected device must have "networking via USB" drivers already installed. So any device that doesn't have these needed drivers obviously won't work with this adapter! In my case I have confirmed that several (but not all) of my home "smart TVs" will work with this adapter, as will both of my chromebook laptops, and even my android smartphone (via a USB "on the go" cable). Again, all devices that this adapter works with are "plug and play", although the TVs also needed to be "restarted" (unplugged from house power, plugged back in and then turned on) to convince the TV to use this adapter vs using its builtin WiFi. ... show more
