  • A simply wonderful product
there are just some products out there that are designed to do one thing and do it well and the eternal bond rubber roof sealant tape is one of those products. Our 1992 pace arrow experienced a pretty good-sized leak during a recent rainstorm while we were out at an RV park. I ended up having to stuff towels and other absorbent objects to keep the water from getting on the bed. After the storm was over and we dried out I realized I had to do something and got on the Internet where I found multiple comments about the Eternal bond line of products. Let me just tell you that this product does exactly what it's supposed to do and does it well. I was able to seal the entire rear seam on our RV and as luck would have it right after I did this job we had another pretty good rainstorm, and I was happy to see that not one drop got in. I highly recommend the Eternal bond tape and the associated products that go along with it. My only mistake that I made was I did not realize that the tape did come in two different colors white and tan. And naturally I put white tape on a tan roof. Does it show, well yeah, sort a. But once again it does the job and does it well. If you have seems that are starting to leak this is the way to go. • Does what it says it will do
Great product. Take your time to apply it. Very sticky and once it’s there it’s there. Be slow and methodical. We used it to seal up our old trailer roof seams and then covered with Henry’s Tropicool . Came out fantastic.

  • Easy to use, seems to be working great
Ordered because I had a small water leak in the roof of my RV. After reading/researching all of the repair options, I decided to try this stuff out as it had a great reputation and looked like it would fit my needs. 12/18/17: Approximately 37 degrees outside during installation dropping to 20 at night. Wiped roof/seam with rubbing alcohol then sprayed clean with EternaBond EC-1 before applying a layer of Eternabond tape to the suspected seam that was leaking. Very easy to install, thick and workable but also very sticky adhesive. After using this for an 8ft seam and the fridge vent, I wish I had purchased the longer roll. 50ft was enough to do my repair and learn about the quality of the material but after using it I realized how great this stuff was and plan to tape over the seams for the sun roof and vents this spring. Will update in the future with more details. ... show more

  • Great tape, but package doesn’t look the same
The tape came in a white sealed bag with NO labels on it. So not the same as what the picture on Amazon is. It also is NOT 1 solid piece, 20ft long. Every 4-9 ft of tape there will be a complete cut, but taped together with clear tape. But the tape is EternaBond and works real well. Just make sure to use a roller to seal tape down. ... show more

  • Worth the price.
Very tacky, has great adhesion qualities to seal seams and joints. My opinion this is a must have to keep moisture out.

  • It works as described
I applied it to a leaking vent area on my camper and the next day it rained and no leaks

  • Sticks well
On the expensive side but adheres to trailer aluminum roof well. It rain hard shortly after and no leaks.

  • Hard to work with
I’ve had this 20 foot roll in my RV storage 18 months or so for emergency repairs and finally decided to use it along with a 50 foot roll to seal my roof. The backing wouldn’t hardly come off without over stretching the lengths that I was trying to use to make a nice fit. No luck with that. It looks bad but it’s sealed. The 50 footer peeled off fine and looks great. Maybe the 20 footer was old? I suppose that I’m the only one that will know and see it. ... show more
