  • Great for charging a Tesla from an RV plug
Style: TT-30P RV/ Trailer 30A to Tesla
Took a long road trip in the Tesla and wanted to make sure I could charge up at some of our RV-friendly overnight stopovers and also as an emergency source of power in case I needed to use RV parks and campgrounds that didn't have EV-specific plugs. It was strictly for backup/overnight charging, because it's relatively slow charging this way. This thing worked like a champ. I just plugged the normal NMEA 14-50 plug with the Tesla cable into one end and then plugged the other end into the RV plug. The circuit breakers on the RV plugs are 30A, but this adapter comes with a warning not to draw more than 24A (to account for a 20% downgrade). On the Tesla, I had to manually set the charge down to 24A to make that happen, which just took a few taps of the charging screen (it wasn't automatically detected). Once that was done, it would continually and reliably charge at 24A. ... show more

  • Simple, safe and cheap EV level 2 option.
Style: Safety Switch Y-Cable-3-Prong Dryer
Easy to install, easy to switch. I got this as a cheaper option to install my level 2 charger (240v/16a) from my dryer plug and it does exactly what it should. My ev is a ford energi , plug in hybrid but I’m sure if it works for mine and a Tesla it probably works for any. The cables from either end aren’t very long, so think out your extension cord needs as well. ... show more

  • good quality product
Style: 14-30 30A 4-Prong Dryer to 50A RV/ Tesla
works well with the EV charging cord

  • Perfect for Tesla charging
Style: 14-50P 4-Prong Gen2 Pigtail-32Amp
I've got this one to use with an extension cord and the splitter from NEMA14-50 outlet for the electric stove. It worked perfectly. It is on 40amps breaker, so I can't cook and charge at the same time, but I get 21-22miles/h for my Tesla Model X 2022 parked outdoors, without overheating, while renting an apartment and not drilling the walls. The splitter fits inside the stove compartment for trays. The extension cord running through a wooden painted board (window is locked inside). When charging overnight I keep Tesla charger in a covered plastic tray to prevent damage from rain and to add more disguised look (Tesla logo lights are very noticeable). For the setup I used the following NEMA14-50 items: - Parkworld 692095 RV 50 AMP Splitter - CircleCord UL Listed 50 Amp - AC WORKS EV Charging Adapter ... show more

  • Able to use one 220 volt outlet for a clothes dryer and for EV charging!
Style: Safety Switch Y-Cable-3-Prong Dryer
I was concerned about my tenant tripping the 220 volt circuit breaker. This adapter has a selector switch that allows my tenant to charge his EV or dry his clothes but not at the same time! No problems now!

  • Technically works. Practically though. . . impractical
Style: TT-30P RV/ Trailer 30A to Tesla
It's fine ya'll. It "works". Problem is, the designer apparently has never actually been camping. The bizarre shape of this thing means that the 30 amp side is getting tugged and cranked out of the outlet by the weight and angular pull of the protuding 50 amp side. I ended up getting proper RV cabling and plugs and wiring my own version of this thing myself. Works like a charm. Never use this one any more. To the designer: seriously go to a camping store and look at ALL the cabling adaptors and notice how they are designed to not pull free from the outlets. ... show more

  • Works, but set this "30 amp" adapter charging to 24 amps or less
Style: TT-30P RV/ Trailer 30A to Tesla
After using an out-of-the box 30 amp RV adapter, which did not work, this Tesla adapter did work. It must have something to do with the neutral leg wire connection. While the price seems steep, a Tesla-specifically-made adapter like this one is required for EV charging to work properly. I recommend that every Tesla making road trips carry one of these adapters along with a 50 amp adapter and/or cable. While there are 10s of thousands of Tesla Super Chargers out there, there are 100s of thousands of RV pedestals at RV parks in out-of-the-way places. I recently made a 6,000 mile solo cross-county road trip and had no problem finding plenty of Tesla Superchargers along the way. I had the peace of mind knowing that I could use any number of other types of type 2 charging if I needed it, which it turned out, I didn't need it. :-). ATTENTION: You must set the charging amps to 24 or less in the car's charging screen. Otherwise, this "30 amp adapter" will overheat, melt, and fail. NOTE: It seems that after I made the 24 amp setting and ,successfully charged the car at a relative's home, the next time I used this adapter my 2019 Tesla Model 3 recognized that I was using it and automatically set the amperage to 24 amps. Could the car be that smart? ... show more
