  • expensive solution of water and soap = $30
my wife is a chemist and we did check the solution, just water and soap mainly. i thought they have some special chemical in it to kill mold and other things but none. you are being scammed to buy a bucket of water and soap for $30. stop giving this 5 star rating people, unless you know what you are doing. ... show more

  • Not impressed after one pass
I picked this up to use on our new camper, bought in April 2018. Up to this point I have washed the camper rood with just water and a soft brush, not really cleaning it, but removing dirt. I was excited to try this product to get rid of moldy looking spots, however, after spending 2 hours scrubbing away this product seemed to remove no more than just water and a brush... definitely nothing more than water and some dishwashing liquid would have done. I chose to use this stuff on others good reviews, and that I wanted something made specifically for rubber roofs. Now I feel like I wasted $30. I used almost 32 oz (transferred from the jug into a spray bottle) over my 21' roof. I was on my hands and knees scrubbing with a soft bristle brush. I made sure that I did small sections at a time and used enough to get a good foamy/soapy mixture going... but it just didn't remove the black spots like I hoped, and other than that, it didn't make the rest of the roof shine bright white either. I am going to go back out when we get another nice day and give it once more over, but my faith is almost non existent that this will do the trick. I will update this review if it does change, but if it doesn't, I will stick with the original rating of 2 stars and then go with something else. If you decide to go with this product, I would suggest buying the smallest amount possible and giving it a try before diving in on a huge bottle! ... show more

  • Cleans well
I used this on my camper's rubber roof. I cleaned it last year with a pressure washer and wasn't very happy with the results. This stuff was easy to apply, I followed the instructions and used a brush in a 3' X 3' section at a time. It worked really well. Just plan on cleaning the sides of the camper when you are done. It really loosens the soil and when you rinse the top it runs down the sides of the camper. ... show more

  • Disappointing
Our trailer left the factory Feb 2021. We picked it up April 23. On August 14I went up the ladder to check the roof and noticed it was quite soiled. First I tried car wash solution to clean it, little effect. Then I sprayed 50% conc purple power and used a scrubbing pad. A little more clean. Then I ordered Dicor rubber roof cleaner, used with the same scrubbing pad. This removed the surface dirt but not the deep stains. What finally worked was SoftScrub applied to a stiff bristle brush, scrubbed, let set 15 minutes before rinsing. This was repeated 3 times in each area. So the Dicor product may be good for a roof that is already clean to maintain clean, but it does not remove stains from a white rubber roof that has not been cleaned in 6 months. ... show more

  • Get a mostly stiff brush for TPO/rubber roof
Our Grand Design RV has rubber/TPO roof with a few years of black crud build-up. I found this material to work VERY well in cleaning. I found it is NOT slippery when applied so its safe to move around on the roof while cleaning. I had to use a brush without handle, on my knees, as I really wanted to scrub this in. It works great! Does it get roof looking like factory new ? no. That ship sailed. It does clean it up nicely though and I just hosed it off. ... show more

Worked well. Waited a year to review to make certain that it did as expected when used in conjunction with Dicor rubber roof protectant. It did. I will use this product again.

  • Cleaned roof nicely
Washed roof with combination of mild soap and bleach. Got loose dirt off but roof still looked dirty. Used Dicor Rubber Roof Cleaner and a scrub brush. It took a fair amount of scrubbing but the roof came out very clean. Used on a 32 foot fifth wheel trailer. I used about 2/3 of a gallon and it took around three plus hours of scrubbing with a hand brush. The cleaner did leave white streaks on the sides of the trailer, even though I kept the sides wet when cleaning the roof. I had to wash the trailer after cleaning the roof. The streaks came off easily. White residue was on the hose, and the ground after the cleaning was finished. Overall the product did a nice job but expect lots of scrubbing to get embedded dirt from the roof, and expect to wash the trailer afterwards to remove the streaking. ... show more
