  • Fine Product
These worked great for my child’s model rocket things!

  • This wadding works great
I used this with my Estes Red Max rocket and it worked almost too good. 3 sheets are all you need but I wasn't sure at first and used 5. It was too much and my parachute almost didn't engage. A first glance this wadding looks exactly like toilet paper you can tell it is coated with something. I imagine a fire retardant material. Either way for the price you get quite a bit and enough for probably 30-40 launches. I'm happy with this product and would happily buy it again. ... show more

  • Necessary and works
If you have a model rocket with a chute, these are a must to keep the chute in good shape. Fair value, would buy again.

  • works as intended
As a rocketeer for many years, I have never used these wadding papers until recently. I always used fire retardant batten insulation as a kid. I just find these pieces of paper to be costly and not as effective as baffles or using insulation which kept gases from seeping through- Insulation is cheaper and works great. Never seared a chute or streamer Just my POV. ¯\(ツ)/¯ ... show more

  • Protect your parachutes
This recovery wadding sits between the rocket engine and the parachute. It keeps the parachute from being melted by the small charge that ejects the chute at the end of the flight. Generally speaking you can get one launch per use of a few pieces. Sometimes if the wind is just right you can recover the wadding and get a second use out of it. Each time a small bit of it may get burned up though, so you can't use the same wadding forever. ... show more

  • It's wadding. It's Estes. It works.
There's not much else to say. If you like launching rockets, you need some wadding, so buy this stuff. It's Estes and it works.
