i am really enjoying my hot tub i put it inside my tent I am hooked up to 110 right now and its running my elc. up 20 dollars a month plan to hookup 240 soon

When the tub arrived we noticed there were shipping stickers with another person's name on them. We were unsure if this person was the amazon rep for the warehouse Essential HT was delivering, or a prior customer that returned the product. It was also delivered out front, and given the shipment process up to delivery we thought it was going to be delivered to where we needed it, but that was a gray area. Plugging it in, we found the tub didn't even turn on. After reaching out to Amazon and discussing options we received sufficient compensation to hire a local expert to diagnose and fix. Anything this big is bound to have issues, so expectations weren't high for immediate startup. However, we managed to resolve all issues by EOD, and by the next morning the tub was warm and we've loved it ever since. -- EDIT: 1 year update -- The tub has survived a midwest winter on 120V and here is our feedback. With the lid half-open we were able to keep heat for at least an hour @ 104, however we weren't physically able to stay in there for that long a period of time. If the tub was fully uncovered, we lost heat within 15-30 minutes, depending on temperature, but we were at or below freezing during these dips. The tub with cover on had no issue returning to temperature even at the coldest points in the year, well below 0 F. We have not noticed any leaks or malformed shape either. One thing we have noticed is there isn't an effective way to drain the remaining water out of the tub once it dips below the lowest hole. We purchased a cost-effective submersible pump to try and get the rest but we still have about 2" of water left, plus what sits in the seats unless you "scoop" it towards the center. I recommend having both a pump with a reasonable rate for the bulk of the water and a wet vacuum for the remaining water and any particulates that settle on the bottom. ... show more

Missing parts and no way to contact the company, came without the filter cover lid. Seems alright, the shell walls are not plumb and bow inwards which is fine it just does not look at all like any kind of quality. Wiring was easy enough, I noticed the tub has next to zero insulation. Time will tell how well it holds it’s heat but I doubt it fair in cold weather. The cover is a joke, as light as a feather and you have to put the straps in yourself. Why wouldn’t they just attach the straps in the factory? Drilling into the shell is a disaster waiting to happen for the consumer… UPDATE 3 months in the shell has expanded as shown in the photo, it no longer holds a full tub of water and will warp further if you fill it. Additionally it is leaking from where the warp is at. This hot tub is a complete waste of money and the manufacturer hasn’t helped at all. They will not return phone calls either. ... show more
