This is my wife and I's first ever espresso machine. We've been getting picky about our coffee and wanting to make them at home but have not been super pleased with any of the results. We decided we probably needed to get an espresso machine, which turned out to be perfect timing because this popped up for us a few days later. I eagerly ordered it and waited for it to arrive. My wife and I were both a little nervous to use it the first time. After seeing videos and tutorials it seemed like you needed a lot of other things besides the machine and that there were a lot of steps. However, once we started using it, we realized how simple it was. Setting up the machine is pretty simple and straight forward. Everything is assembled you just need to remove some plastic wrap and fill it with water. Once the water tank is filled, just turn it on, and wait about 30 seconds for it to heat up. Once the display shows the temperature you just load the protafilter with espresso grounds, stir them around with a distributor, drop a screen on top and attach it to the machine. Place your espresso cup under it, press the button for a single or double shot, and let it brew! We use the machine nearly every morning to make latte's and drinks. We went from never touching an espresso machine and being overwhelmed, to whipping up our own drinks like we've been doing it for years in a matter of days. I can't express enough how easy it was to get started with this machine.     • Surprisingly easy to use!
I'm a drip - well a 'drip-coffee' guy, to be honest! That's the way I've had my coffee at home for years. I've always thought of espresso as being more convoluted and less easy to make. Ok, I was wrong! I got this because I read about espresso and the way it makes coffee differently, and also that you can make your own Americano coffee (my favorite coffee shop coffee) using an espresso maker. So I bit the bullet and got this, and I have not regretted it one bit! First up, this comes almost completely assembled. so it's extremely easy to get ready to use. It looks really professional in shiny stainless steel and is a highlight on the kitchen counter-top, and a talking point for visitors ("Oh, you have an Espresso machine?!"). Once you quickly get a hang of the steps to get it brewing it works out just as quick and easy to make coffee with as a drip-machine, and it's also very easy to clean. I did buy an additional espresso accessory pack/tamping station, but that's really optional and not needed to get started. And to make Americano is easy - it's part espresso and part hot water, and tastes great! This make look a little pricey, but if you love coffee it is great value for money! ... show more

This is a very well made and sturdy espresso machine. It’s a step above some that I have had. The stainless steel exterior is a big plus, and it makes the machine look high quality.
