  • Great series for reluctant readers!
My 9yo is a reluctant reader and he DEVOURED this series! We have also read other titles by these authors. Great gift for video-gaming boys/girls!

  • Resistant reader
I bought this series and the series before this one for my 3rd grader, who fought me on reading since before Kinder. This series has taught him the love of reading. He is reading everything right now! After reading the first series, he chose Escaping a Video Game as his next series. He’s not choosing single books to read. He’s choosing series!!! I am so excited to see his growth. ... show more

  • Got my struggling reader engaged!
My 5th grade son has struggled with reading for years and always said it was boring. He loves gaming so I bought Trapped in and then Escape from a Video Game. He loved them so much and even thought they are below his age, they were chapter books so he didn’t really notice! The ease of reading helping him fall in love with reading and now he frequently sits with me to read. If you have a gamer kid, they’ll love it. ... show more

  • My 5/6 year old loves it.
I had “Which Way” and “choose your own adventure” books when I was a kid. This is like that with modern subject matter. It’s fun. Great box set. Heavyweight quality paper.
