    • Great machine, perfect for small space, clothes come out dry, perfect in so many ways
I bought this machine due to lack of space. I wanted something that could fit in a small space in my bathroom and avoid going to the laundry as I have 2 little ones. I was so skeptical before buying. I did my research and read all the reviews on ventless machine and was leaning towards LG because more popular but wanted the vent/ventless option. I was very skeptical with a company with not so much review but I'm so glad I took a leap of faith and chose this machine. Love it, space saver but washes a good amount. Washes great and clothes come out dry. Wanted a machine that I could vent outside but decided to just use it without venting and it works great. At first I did not like the smell of clothes when new but that went away after several washes and now clothes smell great. I never used to use cloth softener but now I use it as they recommended it and I just gave it a try and now I'm hooked. The clothes come out smelling great and love the fact that I just set once and the clothes come out dry. Love that I don't have to deal with wet clothes putting them inside the dryer. Put clothes and forget. Clothes are dry and ready. Don't have a problem with damp clothes. The clothes actually dries completely. I had a problem with mist coming from the soap dispenser portion when the machine was new but that went away. May be it was the positioning but I had the machine just near the sink and used it as a portable with the sink for months and then afterward moved it to a permanent location and it's been working great. No problem. Love love this machine. It washes a good amount of clothes way more than described and does a great job. I usually don't overload it but just a good amount and it handles my family of 3 (2 kiddos and myself) with no problem. The blankets, I take to the laundry but bed sheets washes with no problem. Great little machine. I'm a home owner and hate water bill but have not noticed any spike so I guess it's not bad on water. Uses regular plug so I just plug mine and have barely noticed any change in my electric bill. Love this machine. Look small which is a perfect space saver but strong in performance. Greetings from Northern California, Typically, I have positive things to say on my reviews, and if I do have something negative I try to be tactful and sensitive, always giving sellers a chance to tell their side of the story or make things right. Unfortunately, that is not the case this time. Please read on: I was SO excited to finally get a washer/dryer for my 32' RV but sadly had extremely poor results with the clothes I laundered and getting help resolving the issues thereof. After I [finally] made contact with a representative named Di, I did everything she suggested to make it work properly, including making sure it was level, it was properly vented, it was free of lint, the loads were small, there was plenty of water pressure, that I used the correct type and amount of detergent ( I even tried cold, warm, and hot water washes), I used Downy fabric softener (wrinkle control) along with wool balls and still didn't get clean clothes that were remotely wrinkle-free. The water simply didn't rinse well and this is made obvious by the picture of my brand new white washcloths which after being washed and dried twice came out looking dirty and ruined. (see photo). The representative Di gave me the phone number of a local technician, Rick, then but told me if he came out and found it was something I did wrong, I would be billed for his labor, not them. Having no choice, I agreed and tried to get the technician to come out to take a look at the machine but because he lives 13 miles away he put me off until he had more clients in my area. I didn't mind at first but then it seemed like it was becoming a problem connecting. He would call and only give me 30 minutes' notice and expect me to be here. When I couldn't, he seemed frustrated and told me he'd call me another time, which never happened. I called and texted him several times thereafter, plus followed up with the management at Equator in Texas, but neither acknowledged much less returned my messages at all. Frustrated with stacks of dirty clothy needing laundering, I contacted Amazon customer service on January 26th. By this time, my washer/dryer combo was out of the (extremely short) 90-day manufacturer warranty and Amazon's 30-day money-back satisfaction guarantee, however, after explaining in detail my ongoing issues and providing a paper trail supporting my assertions, Amazon took responsibility where Equators management failed to and made things right with me. Once again, I am completely blown away by the excellent customer service Amazon provides and can see why they are such a hugely successful company with such a tremendous consumer retention rate. I will be purchasing another washer/dryer from them as soon as the [now useless] Equator is picked up and discarded and will rest assured knowing I am in good hands with my awesome family at Amazon.     • Excellent product and fast delivery
I ordered this washer/dryer combo for my 85-year-old mom who lives 5 hours away from me. After several years, the dryer on her second EdgeStar brand combo stopped working. I tried to order a replacement from Lowe's, but they kept moving the delivery date back and I finally just cancelled the order. I ordered this Equator on Amazon on January 10, 2021. The estimated delivery date was the end of February, but Mom had it on January 20. That is fantastic since it traveled all the way from California to WV. The gentlemen working for Pilot Freight brought it into her home instead of leaving it out on her porch. SO WONDERFUL! Mom has a lot of red in her home and both of her previous combos were white. She is SO PLEASED that this combo is RED! Mom had someone set it up for her, BUT they failed to follow the setup instruction so the first time she used the machine, it bounced off the wheeled platform my brother had made for her previous combos and made a terrible racket. She tried to hold it down but it "flung her around". As it turns out, the packing material needs to be removed from the stabilizing bars as per the instructions. (NOTE: I would have bought her the wheeled model, but it didn't come in red.) Anyway, she got some help, the packing material was removed and she says it runs very smoothly, it's very QUIET, more quiet and lighter than her previous combos so it's easier to move, does a great job and doesn't have a scratch on it. She says the clothes come out wrinkled at first, but she hangs them promptly, per the instructions, and the wrinkles hang out. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Amazon. I knew you would DELIVER! ... show more
