24 Ton rods are lightweight and much less prone to breaking than 30 ton
This is a very nice rod and isn't as prone to breaking as 30 ton. These can bend almost completely over without snapping. Great feel and movement.

I recently had 2 spinning combos fly off my boat....apparently you shold strp them down before running across rough water. I got this rod reluctantly. I am not a fan of 2 piece rods usually. They usually feel loose. That is not the case here. First I pair it with a 5000 spinning reel to see how it fe
lt. Unsurprisingly, it felt heavy towards the back. I got the 7'. It worked to throw some lure but just want not comfortable. I did feel the bit of a good sized crappie while using a 1/2 rat l trap. It is way more sensitive than you would think. As a bass fishermen, I really wanted to know how it would feel with a 200 reel. I threw one on with some 20lb braid. With a jig, I ended up snagging a 1.5 lb bass on the 3rd cast. Of course that had nothing to do with the rod. However, it is very well balance with the reel. The rod, as mentioned is way more sensitive than I expected. I will keep this as a go-to for finesse fishing. If this rod stays feeling solid, this might just be a sleep, especially at the price.

Great rod, may not have the name brand with it but it has worked great for me through the summer. I haven't noticed any quality issues and use this for my bass reel. I would recommend.

This is a nice quality rod at its price point. I got the shorter 6 ft spinning version. It definitely has a fast action with most of its bending biased toward the tip. For a "medium" power rod, I would consider it toward the heavy end of medium. This extra perceived stiffness may be due to the shorte
r rod length. The blank appears to be high quality with a good ferrule fit. The reel seat is solid and the cork grips feel good in the hand. The cork seems to have a bit of a synthetic quality to it and a significant amount of filler....not sure to what extent natural cork is utilized, but it does feel good in the hand. The workmanship of the rod hardware, assembly and windings is quite nice. My only significant gripe is that the tip guide was poorly fabricated and had a significant sharp burr, which could have caused line abrasion/damage. I was able to remove this burr with an abrasive stone. The other guides were all fine, so I'm not sure if this was a one-off issue with the tip guide. All things considered, this is both a handsome and nice quality rod for its relatively low price.

Nicely Fabricated Spinning Rod
EOW’s 2 piece 7-ft spinning rod is a very nicely fabricated fast action medium power rod. The fittings are well made with reasonable quality nylon reel seat and cork handles. The guides are stainless steel with ceramic rings and are nicely attached to the rod blank. The rod blank is made of 24T carbo
n fiber. It is a pretty rod, black with accents of red. The rod comes with a rod sleeve. It has 8 guides, and they taper down to a tiptop that has an ID of 3mm. I prefer a slightly larger tiptop, but that is a personal preference. With a 3000 series reel loaded with 12-lb test line, the rod balanced just at the front of the spool. I performed a static load test and looked at the angles that the line took between eyes and did not see any severe angles. In use, the rod feels good and casts well. It has a nice light feel and I believe I could fish it for extended periods without becoming fatigued. The carbon fiber blank provides a lot of sensitivity. Overall, I am very pleased with this spinning rod.

This rod is a great option if you do not want to spend big bucks on big name brands. The rod is light weight and has held up well through 2 or 3 fishing trips. Recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, affordable rod

A good balance of price and quality
Style: A: Casting 7'/Power M/Fast (One Tip)
I got the 7' Baitcasting rod which was marked for 8# to 15# test. I mounted a lighweight casting reel spooled with 8 pound test and so far I'm pretty happy. I'd prefer it if it was slightly less stiff - this is good for fishing plastic worms - every small "tap" is easy to feel, but it feels heavy whe
n playing a fish. A bit more "whip" would have made it more fun to play out a decent fish. The rod butt is well made and holds on to the reel very snugly. The rod is lightweight and balances well. The feel is almost as good as a one-piece rod - the two halves connect so well, you can't tell it's a two piece rod. The colors are nice - every bit of the finish looks like it's on a much more expensive rod. It also came in a lightweight nylon bag - good for transporting the rod. This really is a good rod for the $$$.

My son loves fishing (or at least the thought of it...), and he really appreciated this as a gift. It's flexible without breaking, and will make a nice addition to his collection of Fishing gear

The media could not be loaded. Rod has a nice look to it and is comfortable to hold. The rod line guides are very sturdy and have a very smooth interior for easy line casting and retrieval. The built in hook keeper is sound. The rod tip seems to have enough sensitivity to feel smaller bites. I am loo
king forward to trying this rod out. Overall would be a good starter rod for someone.

Really Great Piece of Kit!
Style: A: Casting 6'/Power M/Fast (One Tip)
I wouldn't mind paying this much for a one piece rod, the fact that it breaks down is just a bonus. The rod has great action, and the handle is comfortable to hold and cast with. The eyes are good quality and the reel seat is very sturdy and solid. I love that it comes with a carrying bag, and that t
he bag is split into two compartments to separate the two halves of the pole. Very nice touch. Overall I think that value is incredible on this rod, throw an Abu reel on there and you have a budget setup that will compete with the top-dollar setups. Don't worry about it, just get it!

Good sturdy spinning rod.
The media could not be loaded. This is a really nice 7 ft spinning rod. It's a 2 piece so it's easy transportable when moving or storing the rod. I really like cork handle rods and this one has a good on. Provides a nice supportive grip. It's also lightweight and feel like a very durable rod. Overall
a really good 2 piece rod...👍

Lighter Weight Fishing Pole for those better tasting smaller fish
Style: A: Casting 7'/Power M/Fast (One Tip)
Lighter Weight Fishing Pole for those better tasting smaller fish I admit I am not a fisherman, but my buddy is and he is teaching me. He fishes in “bass tournaments” (whatever that means) and he owns two motorboats so he surely knows what he is talking about. Anyway I showed him this fishing rod and
he told me that it was for “the better tasting smaller fish”. He said I should definitely add this rod to my take along fishing stuff. He said that the pole hardware had superior quality “eyes”. He said it was a bargain price for this high a quality pole. He said it felt like a one piece rod when put together. He said he liked “the action”. It came in a nice roll up bag for storage and transport. I particularly like the fishing information data printed on the rod itself (please see attached label photograph). He said it was just perfect for the next smaller lake he plans on taking me to fish. Apparently in some lakes there is a complicated sizing scheme that you have to follow: you can keep a certain kind of fish over a certain size, but less than a certain size (something to do with maintaining breeding stock); or a certain different kind of fish over a certain size. I am only going to go fishing with a knowledgeable fisherman until I learn enough of the rules.
