The eotech vudu is amazing clear, light and easy to use. Only down fall Is the brightness. If you are out doors the illuminated reticle is useless. But it’s an actual reticle so you don’t need illumination but that’s why you buy a 1-6 so you can have a red dot at 1 power and a reticle at 6 power. Kind of disappointed but that’s really the only issues and battery life. I wouldn’t by again only because of that. I ordered this with green illumination but got red instead. Also did not come with a battery even though the box had the lithium label. That was a vendor issue though. The brightness of the red reticle seemed to be daylight bright. Not sure it was high noon bright. There is a slight magnification at 1x that is a bit distracting. For a scope that costs nearly a thousand dollars, I was surprised at how poorly it was packed and that it didn’t even come with flip up lens covers or a mount. The illumination was brighter than I expected, so I gave it 3 stars, otherwise I would have ranked it lower. ... show more
