  • WHY CARBON FIBER - Nova Go SP1 is made of carbon fiber composite material, which means it's impervious to temperature and humidity change. Taking it on travels, to chill on a beach with the hot bright sun up above, or to a hiking trip deep in a mountain, or even further to shoot some beautiful Instagram posts in a snow land, this Nova Go SP1 carbon fiber acoustic-electric guitar would stay stable, with no warp nor cracks. That's the definite edge of carbon fiber guitars.
  • WHERE THINGS GET INTERESTING - The absolute differentiator of this guitar is that its equipped with the SP1 pickup system. It gets you reverb, delay, and fusion effects on your bare guitar, unplugged. No pedals nor amps are needed. Theres a little speaker inside the body of the guitar, which produces these effects sound, and it can be also used for music playback via Bluetooth.
  • A PRODUCTIVITY WORKHORSE - SP1 pickup system not only allows you to have tons of fun unplugged. But if you plug it into an amp or PA, this Nova Go SP1 carbon fiber acoustic-electric guitar becomes a workhorse for you to gig with. Whats more, SP1 comes with USB On-The-Go connectivity. You can plug it directly into your phone or PC to record any creative ideas without needing an audio interface.
  • SOLID BUILD & EASY TO PLAY - The body of this Nova Go SP1 carbon fiber acoustic-electric Guitarra is 1/2 sized (35 in.), molded all in one piece, meaning that the bridge is a cohesive part of the top, not glued upon like traditional acoustic guitars. It would never snap or fall off. Meanwhile, we've put a truss rod into the neck, giving your more adjustability for the string action, even though the factory setup is already optimum. Also, the Zero Fret feature is added for smoother tuning.
  • PRACTICAL ACCESSORIES - This Nova Go SP1 acoustic-electric carbon fiber guitar comes with a gig bag, and the packaging is colorful and delicately designed. You can send it straight as a gift to someone you love or care about. A hexagon wrench is also included for you to adjust the string action. • This guitar should not sound this GOOD!
Color: Blue
I saw a YouTube video about this guitar. The reviewer is a down-to-earth guy, who is pretty blunt in his reviews. He liked it and that put the bee in my bonnet. Amazon ran a sale on it, so I had to try. The body is small, but the neck feels like that of a full-sized guitar. Honestly, I was wondering if would be like trying to play a mandolin, but it's like a regular guitar. The sound is full. For a small, relatively thin guitar, it has a rich bass response and the sound is balanced. I've got some pretty serious acoustic guitars. This may not be in that league, but it's surprisingly good and better than some of my mid-range guitars that I would actually take out of the house. The carbon fiber is pretty thick and feels durable. There's a lot of tone wood, bracing, grading of the spruce top, et al talk about acoustic guitars, but this thing sounds good. There are graphite and other carbon fiber guitars on the market, but at multiples of the cost of this guitar. I love the look. Enya calls the color "blue," but as the photos show, it's more aqua or sea foam green—a PLUS in my book. The neck shape is comfortable to play. The neck had just the right amount of relief for no buzzing. You get a tool for adjusting the neck in case it needs help in the future. The on-board effects are OK. It is cool the have reverb and other effects come out of a guitar that is not plugged in. I have played it thru' a guitar amp, but not thru' a PA. I downloaded the app and got it to pair with my phone thru' Bluetooth, but haven't experimented with it very much. The action is playable, but I'd like it a little lower. Time to sand the bridge saddle, but I haven't done it yet. The case is different from what a lot of YouTube reviewers show. It's a soft shell gig bag with an eternal pocket. Instead of a single strap that could be removed and used as a guitar strap with included adapters, it's got two sewn-on straps for classic backpack carry. This case was aroma-free. Some reviewers said their cases reeked. The manual says it comes with a leather strap. I got a woven one in a pukey color that isn't going on my aqua blue guitar. They are wise enough to add "subject to change" when listing the accessories. I was intrigued by the innovations that this guitar offered. I also got it for its size, weight and durability as a travel guitar. It has not disappointed in any of these areas. But it is the sound that is truly amazing from this little powerhouse. I certainly didn't need another guitar, but I'm glad I got this one. It's useful and unique. ... show more

  • Worthwhile instrument, not a toy
Color: Black
I ordered this because I needed a compact acoustic guitar that I could keep in a vehicle without causing any damage to it. I didn't have high hopes originally but I am happy to say it's significantly better than I expected. It sounds significantly bigger than it is, even without the electronics turned on. Here are a few points worth mentioning. Good intonation, the action is good, not super low but that can be easily remedied by you or a music shop. The finish is a pleasant matte texure that is really easy on the eyes and feels great. The tuners are great and feel smooth without jumping. The fretwork is great, no fret sprout and seems polished well. The case is good, nothing super special, just a padded gig bag. Now the electronics are interesting, because they don't make a crazy difference in the sound, but just enough to be noticed. It's a welcome addition but not worth 100 extra dollars in my opinion. Overall I would recommend this guitar to serious musicians who want an inexpensive beater guitar. ... show more

  • Wonderful guitar for anyone!
Color: Black
I've been playing since I was about 8 years old and I'm almost 61 now. I've got many nice electrics, 2 nice basses and 3 acoustics, and all 3 of them have some problem or another that I don't like about them anymore. I have a Dean acoustic electric that sounds OK, but it's a little thick for me, I have an old Yamaha that I loved everything about, but I've had it for well over 20 years and it was neglected off and on due to me having illnesses and now it's showing it's age and doesn't play well anymore. I also have a no name cheapo that actually played well for what it is but again too thick. I saw some videos of this composite travel guitar on YouTube and thought it would be perfect for me. Number one reason being that it's not susceptible to tempurature and humidity like a wood guitar, so no fret sprout, warped necks etc. In other words, if I'm not well and neglect it, it shouldn't be a big deal. No oiling fretboards, no waxing, no humidity worries etc. Number 2, the smaller size. I'm a big guy, but short in stature and smaller hands with arthritis . This is the perfect size guitar to play on the couch or to take anywhere. Number 3, it actually sounds fantastic in person. Even after seeing so many videos, hearing it in person after the strings were properly stretched and tuned was impressive. It's not loud like a big dreadnought or anything but it is very resonant and plenty loud enough. 4. the fretwork is immaculate. No sharp frets at all. 5. The composite body is so smooth and comfortable. It weighs just under 4 lbs. Feels surprisingly substantial, It does have some neck dive but not really a big deal with a strap. People keep referring to it as a carbon fiber guitar, that's not exactly accurate. It's polycarbonate (plastic) mixed with a small amount of carbon fiber for added strength and resonance and therefore a composite. And they did a fantastic job in my opinion. 6. It plays very nice. I'll experiment with strings to find some with less tension to be easier on my old fingers and fingertips. And yes you can use nylon strings if you wish. It came with D'adario strings and extra pack of Enya generic strings. The action was pretty good, actually not terribly high out of the box but could be lowered a bit depending on your playing style. I like a low action myself. 7. The effects that are built in are a nice addition and fun to experiment with, plugged in or not. You can connect to app on your phone, and customize and create your own effects, there is a drum machine and metronome to play along with, a tuner etc. You can plug into an amp, record directly to a pc or device using the usb c interface that's also used for charging the effects system. It's very versatile. I'm totally loving this purchase and I'm really glad I saw it on YouTube. The soft case and the accessories were nice. Even the strap was adequate for what it is. I think this instrument is a bargain for what you get and the quality of it at this low price. This would be a low maintenance guitar for parents getting their child a first guitar and not susceptible to weather and tempurature concerns and the smaller size is perfect. It's also perfect for smaller statured people and people who don't want a super thick acoustic. It's only about 3" thick at the deepest. I love it. My other acoustics are not being used so I will probably give them away or donate them. This one is perfect for me, the size, my needs and use at my age, low maintenance, playability, sound etc. Are very acceptable to me. I highly recommend it. As with any instrument, having a proper set up can make the strings more comfortable with a lower action for anyone, especially newbies. ... show more
