  • WHY CARBON FIBER - Nova Go SP1 is made of carbon fiber composite material, which means it's impervious to temperature and humidity change. Taking it on travels, to chill on a beach with the hot bright sun up above, or to a hiking trip deep in a mountain, or even further to shoot some beautiful Instagram posts in a snow land, this Nova Go SP1 carbon fiber acoustic-electric guitar would stay stable, with no warp nor cracks. That's the definite edge of carbon fiber guitars.
  • WHERE THINGS GET INTERESTING - The absolute differentiator of this guitar is that its equipped with the SP1 pickup system. It gets you reverb, delay, and fusion effects on your bare guitar, unplugged. No pedals nor amps are needed. Theres a little speaker inside the body of the guitar, which produces these effects sound, and it can be also used for music playback via Bluetooth.
  • A PRODUCTIVITY WORKHORSE - SP1 pickup system not only allows you to have tons of fun unplugged. But if you plug it into an amp or PA, this Nova Go SP1 carbon fiber acoustic-electric guitar becomes a workhorse for you to gig with. Whats more, SP1 comes with USB On-The-Go connectivity. You can plug it directly into your phone or PC to record any creative ideas without needing an audio interface.
  • SOLID BUILD & EASY TO PLAY - The body of this Nova Go SP1 carbon fiber acoustic-electric Guitarra is 1/2 sized (35 in.), molded all in one piece, meaning that the bridge is a cohesive part of the top, not glued upon like traditional acoustic guitars. It would never snap or fall off. Meanwhile, we've put a truss rod into the neck, giving your more adjustability for the string action, even though the factory setup is already optimum. Also, the Zero Fret feature is added for smoother tuning.
  • PRACTICAL ACCESSORIES - This Nova Go SP1 acoustic-electric carbon fiber guitar comes with a gig bag, and the packaging is colorful and delicately designed. You can send it straight as a gift to someone you love or care about. A hexagon wrench is also included for you to adjust the string action. A USB Type-C cable is there to charge the pickup system, system update, and digital output. Weve also included an instrument cable in the package.

  • Sweet little guitar
Color: Black
This is a quality little guitar. I stress the "little" part because the diminutive size can make playing some chords difficult, especially if you are using a capo up the neck beyond the third fret, but that is a consequence of the size, not the quality of the guitar. I also note what I think of as a "ukulele" tone, so don't expect a large "wood body tone" from this small carbon fiber instrument. The tone is a bit between plastic and wood, being more resonant than plastic, but not as rich as wood. That said, overall this may well be an advantage with this guitar as it can be played privately without disturbing others. The effects are interesting and fun to play around with. Adjusting the tone could be better handled in the app, but the process is adequate. I would like to see more places for user-generated tones, as I believe there is only one slot or tone setting for user-created effects. I bought this primarily as a travel guitar so I can take it when I fly, but find I use it at home for a quiet practice. Plugging it into an amp or PA produces a quality sound. As temperatures have dropped this winter and the relative humidity has tanked in the house, I find I use this more when playing outside my music room which has better humidity control. I like that I don't have to worry about the low humidity damaging the guitar. Overall, this is a fine little guitar and if you are looking for a smaller instrument for a child, or don't mind the shorter neck (which compresses the distance between frets) this is the travel guitar for you. I got it on a sale, but even at its regular price it is a good value and I would recommend it to anyone. ... show more

  • Most versatile travel guitar
Color: White
This is the first review I've ever written! I am so impressed with this instrument. I've owned many travel guitars over the years including the gs mini and baby Taylor. I am also an avid backpacker so that is a specific consideration for an instrument. First I just wanna say that I am impressed with the overall aesthetic of both the guitar and case. They did a superb job with the style. The case is kind of rubber that holds a firm shape and is amazing for travel. The strap for the case that doubles as a guitar strap is a nice touch. I recommend turning the strap around so the more padded part is in the back to help combat the nose dive of the instrument. The sound is incredibly loud for the size of the guitar. It's louder than my Breedlove full sized (dread-like) guitar. The tone is rich and full. And it adds an extra punch with the internal speaker and amplified effects. They are subtle but in a good way. It increases the volume slightly but not to where it overpowers the natural sound of the instrument which I like. The neck and playability is top notch with great action. It plays almost like an electric guitar. Where it really shines is in the durability category. I bought it just before a 22 mile backpacking trip in Kauai. These were the most intense conditions I've ever taken a guitar into. Strapped on the outside of my pack (tightly) with Velcro it endured rain, mud, wind, and a slide off the side of the trail. The first night I had it underneath my hammock and accidentally stepped into it with my full weight. When I reached the end of the trail only 1 string was slightly out of tune. I couldn't believe that everything that guitar went through and it came out perfect. I committed to writing this review. Even the battery charge lasted almost a whole week! Overall the only so called negatives I could come up with are that the case is almost as heavy as the guitar so it's added weight when backpacking (but worth it). And the low end of the instrument is not strong due to the overall size of the guitar. All in all it's louder and sounds better to me than most of the travel guitars I've had. And the built in effects are awesome especially when plugged in. The GS mini still wins in overall quality of sound but at $700 that is an expensive guitar to throw around. This is the most feature rich and versitile instrument especially for the price ... show more

  • An entertaining toy
Color: Black
It's a more a novelty than a serious guitar. Sound is surprisingly good, particularly without connecting to an external amp. Some of the effects (the internal amp has a neutral and 3 effects modes) sound a little silly; but you can adjust the level to create a more natural sound as desired. The size is just about perfect for a travel guitar and it comes with a nice little gig bag, strap, cord and add'l set of strings. The two areas that need improvement are playability and sound quality when connected to an external amp. It's fine if you just want to strum simple chords, or pick a single melody; but anything more is an exercise in frustration. The neck is a bit narrow, but no worse than a lot of electrics. There's just something a little off about the fretboard which requires a bit of getting used to. Mine also does not hold tune very long; so if you're playing for more than a song or two, you'll need to re-tune frequently. My biggest disappointment is the noise level when you plug into an external amp. I'll try some other amps, but this really doesn't work very well with my Pignose or Blackstar Fly practice amps. ... show more
