Bundle made it easy to set up new violin and tune to a fine tone. Included two extra batteries for the tuner at N/C. Highly recommend and will buy from again, on other offerings.

Got the products as a set, the violin tuner was top notch, the violin mute worked perfectly even if it only reduces the violins volume by half. But the disappointing part about this set was the rosin, it feels like it was left in a warehouse for years and is both brittle and hard, to get it to rub off the violins bow it felt as if i had to put so much pressure as to break my bows strings. Would recommend the sets value even assuming the rosin came defective. An advice for any violinist is to not skimp on rosin quality, it will show in your playing. ... show more

I was really excited to get this kit. I went for it because I needed a tuner that would attach to my violin and also needed rosin. The rosin is extremely hard to unbox so I haven’t gotten a chance to use it yet. The accessories and small free gift were awesome and came with extra batteries. However, I was very disappointed by the tuner. I can use it to play open strings but even then it doesn’t always pick up the sound. I have to bow a few steady times to get an accurate reading. Don’t even think about seeing if any notes you play are in tune. It truly is a one use tuner. If you are brand new and looking for a kit with accessories for cheap, I would recommend. Do not buy this if you are looking for a tuner. Sadly, I threw out the packaging before really testing everything out but wish I could have returned it. ... show more

I couldn't wait to try this one out. I hated using my phone every time to tune and had to fumble through the app etc. This is a Godsend. It works as advertised and is extremely easy to use. Just set the mode, choose a base frequency, and you are ready to go. I found that for my violin (I use both western and classical Indian) its easy to tune with chromatic mode. The display takes a sec or two for showing the correct note, but it works. I purchased the whole pack, with a mute and the rosin. They work fine as well. And surprise, the sellers threw in a new violin string, and couple of coin cell batteries as gift. Thank you very much. ... show more

I got the product quickly and they are perfect for my use. The tuner is quite easy to use and hangs itself on the scroll, and the rosin works brilliantly. The practice mute suited my needs perfectly as I can practice with much more ease and calm as I'm not disturbing people who don't want to hear me practice.
