This printer was a pain to set up to begin with. Once I figured it out it worked ok. 3 months go buy and the printer has stopped working. Not clogged, it stopped working in the middle of a print. Did a head clean and then the print head carriage got stuck and a part of it was loose (some metal shield). Have contacted seller and of course no response. Hopefully Amazon can do something about it. ... show more

The setup of the programs is not easy. More so when they have to do it remotely, plus the time difference. I struggled to set it up because there were no videos, the links on the manual are invalid. Finally set the machine up, it takes multiple test prints. The machine is now experiencing an error. I just don’t feel like dealing with it again. If you’re a beginner you will need a lot of patience. I struggled with getting vibrant colors, no matter what I changed. It was one of the more affordable options, but in the long run might turn out to be the most expensive. :( ... show more

Ive done sublimation, htv, regular ahesive vinyl, but none of them were as satisfying as dtf. The ability to print on any fabric no matter how dark the color is amazing. Setting up the printer itself wasnt hard. Add the ink to the reservoirs, draw the ink into the cartridges (yes even the eco tanks have reusable cartridges) and install the roll of film. The issue was the software. It gave me issues beyonf belief. When my personal laptop was the only one who accepted the software the printer ran beautifully after downloading the drivers from a different source than the usb dongle and finding a icc file that gave amazing color from a different source as well. Was it truly worth what i spent? Not quite. The price is $300 dollars higher than i think it should be for the hassles i had but i got everything working before resorting to using their technicians which were very willing to help to solve my issues if i decided i needed to. I do have them on stand by if any issues arises. So far other than initial troubles none. 1-2 print head cleanings depending how long i go between uses is all i need to print smoothly. Printer is Easy to use The print quality is not okay which is affected by the printhead that hits the film destroying the whole design waste of time Sometimes the printer stops in the middle of the process stops printing for no reason It gets really annoying irritating because I wanted to work so bad for my small business Right now at this stage of this review 12/26/24 I don't recommend buying this printer ... show more

The printer itself prints real well. Even though the plastic does get stuck once in awhile. The software does not work. Tried calling the customer support number as well as emailing from two different sites with no answer at all. So I did have to spend an additional $400 buying software that works.
