I bought 2 used A20 headsets this year, but knew they would need a refresh. I Thought I would try these for the money. Inside the pretty thin box came 2 ear cups, scrim pad sets (inside foam sheet covering the speakers) for both A10 and A20s, and a folded instruction sheet. The same ear cups fit both models. The instructions for the A20 scrim pads are folded on inside of the instructions for the A10s so that was a thing... Also, no instructions or hints for putting on the ear cups, but that wasn't too hard to figure out. The scrim pads for the A20s fit perfectly, but it helps to see how they fit so only do one side at a time so you have a reference point. Took about 10 min to do both sides after figuring out the instruction for the A20s. Fit seems nice and soft on my head. Seemed just a tiny bit warm after wearing for 10 min around the house. I can tell a big improvement in noise reduction compared to my blown out Bose pads. Others report the scrim pads not fitting, but I am guessing they used the wrong pads? Mine went on with no problems and seemed good quality so I bought a second set for my Wife's headset. I'll report back if they fail the flight check, but I don't anticipate any issues. ... show more

PL Black - the Soulwit seem slightly thicker with slightly denser foam. The replacement was easy the noise isolation is on several levels higher than the original now i only hope they'll last longer, which should not be hard since the originals can barely survive 100 hours

These cushions are ultra soft! I'm still on the fence whether that's a good thing. Pro: Glasses seem to fit under the cushions better than the standard Bose cushions. I tend to wear my sunglass temples snugged into the very top of the cushions anyway, but for people who like their eyeglass temples running right under the cushion, these may be better. Con: The extra cushion feels mushy at times. After 3 hours or more, some discomfort still creeps in at skull hardpoints. I have to take them off for a little break (which is okay, given it's a jet cockpit, not my little piston aircraft), but this is what I was doing with the OEM Bose cushions anyway. As for the lambskin, I can't feel any difference between this and cow leather. ... show more

Some have noted it was difficult install, I did not experience that. It is tight- which is good, yet if you roll the side sleeve over the Bose X ear pieces, it slips on well. Good value for the quality and similar in size and feel to the original. I haven't used them yet, so don't know about the performance- TBD. I would recommend. ... show more

This product is like the original. Ear pads are of good memory foam quality and as an extra bonus, it comes with the pieces that go into the headset for both the A20 and A20. Installation instructions included. Will buy again as I have a few pairs that are used.
