The only thing that worries me about this lift plate is two welds that don’t seem 100% but we'll see how they hold up once all the weight of engine is dangling from it. The edge of plate does have some very sharp spots like extreme sharp slice your hands, fingers open no problem. It would be 5***** stars if the item had bolt holes on it to hold the bolts with the plate while it’s not being used so the bolts don’t get lost.. that would great ... show more

I used this for a gen 4 ls, the cut outs in the back for a gen 3 didn't cause any issues for me. All bolt holes lined up, and i just added a little masking tape to prevent junk from falling into the valley. And I'm a big fan of the many lifting points, i was able to adapt my adjustable hoist adapter easily to it. ... show more
